hope these photos and my instructions are understandable.
take a fold top sandwich bag and lay it down, long side up, measure approximate length of tape to go around pups neck, I use scotch tape as it is not too sticky and will not pull out hair.
lay tape on bag and stick.
them place baggie over pups ears, taped side to back of neck.
then just wrap tape around neck.
I could usually reuse the same bag a few times before I had to make a new set up.
I did the plastic grocery bag too. No fun when the wind would blow and it would fill with air and scare the crap out of the pup. I would pinch a bit of the bag on the top middle between the ears with a clothes pin to help decrease the bag flapping in the wind.
This clear plastic bag method looks much better! And more durable.
I used the plastic bag method , but instead if being scared of it Logan thought it was the most amazing thing ever and would try and play with it. So , i ended up just changing them whenever they got wet
We've had a Gully Washer coming down making potty breaks EXTREMELY difficult!!!! Pup's ears are healing from crop, and they are NOT supposed to get wet! I tried taking her out using an umbrella, but that didn't work so well. I also tried putting a wal-mart plastic bag over her ears, BUT that was WAY too much noise and excitement for a puppy, and I couldn't successfully get it on her head! Suggestions for keeping them dry while going outside during this Monsoon??
Thanks
Thank you! It seems to have been raining non stop for a week here and it's a chore to get Bonzai go out there in the first place! At least this way his posts will stay dry
This is Blitz's current rain get-up. It's working well so far! I secure it with a piece of cloth tape going from the left ear, under his chin to the right ear.
