Posting this for someone I know who does fostering:
Zane is young, natural ears, and docked Doberman, approximately 2 years old. He was picked up as a stray in New York but this boy clearly must have come from a home where someone spent time with him. He is a total love bug; just an affectionate mush! Zane is your typical velcro Dobe who loves to snuggle..in fact, Zane really likes to try to crawl into your lap. He clearly has no idea how big he is!
Zane is a playful, high energy dog but will mellow out in a heartbeat to snuggle up with you. He gets along with other dogs. We are unsure how he would do with cats. While he is a high energy dog, he is also a very easy going boy and will let you do just about anything to him. He doesn't seem to be afraid of anything! For this reason, we believe he could be suitable for a home with children.
Zane is extremely intelligent and quick to pick up on what's expected of him. He knows basic commands and is completely housebroken and crate trained. He could use a little leash work and will need a home that can understand he is a young boy who will need direction to continue on his path to being an upstanding citizen! Just found out that there is a pending adoption on Zane. Keep your fingers crossed everything goes through.
