| URGENT:Red Boy in NW Tennessee Shelter
There is a 2 year old Doberman in a shelter in Tiptonville, TN. He is docked and has natural ears. He is also HW+ and intact. I am told that he is good with all people, dogs, and even cats. He was in a foster home, but for some reason the woman can no longer keep him and the shelter in full. This guys days are numbered, and maybe even non-existent. The post on the Tiptonville Shelter's Facebook page says this boy has until tomorrow (12-12-12) to find a new home. I have contacted the shelter and am doing everything I can to buy this guy some more time. I am at school, in an apartment, with 2 Chinese Cresteds and a Doberman in Middle Tennessee now, or I would have already made the trip and pulled this boy. I will be going home to West TN the beginning of the week, and if he is still alive and in the shelter when I do, I will pull him and foster him until I have to come back to school. I'm just trying to do whatever I can to save this boy and just give him some more time. If anyone knows of anyone who would be willing to foster or adopt him, I will be happy to transport. His adoption fee is only $75! I am attaching the link to the Facebook page, hopefully it will work. | I emailed whoever is in charge of the FB page for the shelter first thing this morning, and she just go back to me about an hour ago. I was just trying to get an update and buy the poor guy some time.. She responded with a very short, unconcerned message about how she was at the doctor all day today and said she would get back with me in the morning. So, I'm hoping this means he won't be put down tomorrow.. Since she didn't really seem concerned about it.. I'll know more in the morning and will update here as soon as I can.

| Pinsch of Heaven Doberman Rescue was told that this boy has people interested in adopting him and is not at risk at this time. The shelter will contact the rescue if needed  | |

| This boy is SAFE SAFE SAFE!!!! He is being adopted by a wonderful woman who plans to start his heartworm treatment immediately and will have him neutered as soon as he gets rid of the worms! I will be helping transport him sometime over the next few days. Thanks So Much for the support for this guy. It's so amazing when they get second chances like this.
