This sweet boy is in a municipal shelter, and in need of vet care.
He was adopted out once, over a week ago, and promptly returned as they said he "wasn't good with other dogs."
He was adopted to an inexperienced home, with an intact male Pit, so, dunno who thought that had a fabulous chance of working out.
He did not react or try to fence fight with any dogs when I was handling him, but it's the shelter environment. <shrug>
He passes kitty testing with flying colors and is so velcro as to be more like superglue.
In fact, getting any pics of him was a pure b*tch, as he wouldn't un-attach himself from my knee:
I did give him some yummy treats, mmmmm, he said.
I had to leave the kitty cubicle, just to get him out of my lap, to get some pics:
Walking around in the kitty room, leaving the kitties in peace, nice boy:
Um, lady, here I am. Is your knee not getting cold yet? Because...well, I could lean against it again for you, if you want:
Come back in here, please?
So, that is him, he's in kinda tough shape, stiff from sleeping on concrete, has complications from his neuter surgery and just generally needs pulled and some vetting and TLC.
Putting this out there for anyone who is looking for a nice boy, or any rescuers who could pull him.
I've got my hands full is a laughable understatement, and my friends all have similarly full to overflowing situations, and the rescue I sometimes pull for has zero foster placements.
His info is going to DAN, too, but just thought we'd network him as much as possible.
