|  Sponsor a Senior for the Holiday CHALLENGE!!
Its been almost 6 months since I lost my beloved Tycoon. And now with three generations of his lineage passing away this year, I am left devastated!! I would LOVE to rescue a Doberman in need but now is not the right time so I did the next best thing....
I sponsored a Doberman from The Senior Doberman Project.
I challenge you all to do the same. Please go to: The Senior Doberman Project
and select an ol Dober girl or boy and sponsor them for at least a month.
When I think of the nature of the Doberman, it breaks my heart to see these poor older Dobes that just what a forever home to love and spoil them in their last years of life. So PLEASE.... it only costs $30 for the month and it will mean so much!!

sheezbusy......maybe you could get a moderator to move this thread to the rescue section.
in this 'area' threads move down the pile very quickly...........

I say we "sticky" it both here and in the rescue section, at least for the month. I would guess not everyone sees every section regulary and I would think this is deserving of a little "better coverage" than just a single moving thread. | |

I also told my family if they want to get me a Christmas gift, then sponsor a Dobe in my name. I really don't NEED anything. If you know anyone who would be willing to give a rescue a stable, loving life..... encourage them to consider a rescue. Lets give new meaning to the song "I'll be HOME for Christmas!!!"

| Featuring Maxx!!
He is an 11 year-old Senior boy who was pulled from a local shelter after being dumped with no hope of being adopted. For his age he has amazing energy and gets along well with dogs, cats, and even a potbellied pig who he shares a foster home with. He is very trustworthy in the house, loves to play, and in true Doberman fashion, loves to be touching his foster mom at all times. He will follow her from room to room while she goes about her day. Max would be a great addition to any home!

| My husband and I were going to fly from CT to Cali and adopt Jazzy and drive her home. After discussing it with the rescue, Jazzy is going to stay where she is and I will sponsor her for the rest of her doggie days!! I LOVE HER!!! Quote:
