Hello everyone! Last night, a blue dobe female was brought into the humane society in st. cloud, mn. She is cropped (not standing), docked, and weighs 81 lbs. Her name is gracie, she is a 1 1/2 years old, and a complete sweetie. She went through two of my sisters training classes, and is very smart and well trained. We are trying to contact her owner to see why it didn't work out, but she needs a loving forever home! She won't be up for adoption for a few days (they couldn't tell us when). We have contacted the MN dobe rescue, so maybe they can help too. Thanks guys! We know quite a bit about her history, so if you have any questions, call me at 320-250-0484 anytime.

I would be more than happy to meet someone halfway if they live within a reasonable distance, just to make sure this girl finds a good home.

and can you tell me more about her,why she ended up in the shelter and does she gets along with other dogs?i have a 5 year old neuter GSD,Logan,he is a sweetheart and gets along very well with other dogs and i have Apollo 5 month old.so if you might can give me more info's that would be really great and maybe we can work out something

From what the shelter told me, it seemed like her family moved- which could be why we haven't heard from them in a while. She grew up with her littermate, Gigi, and an older male dobe whos name escapes me. They always played very well together. She's a very energetic girl, so I would have to talk to my sister about how she thinks a puppy would do with her- but she's definitely not aggressive. As of today she's available, apparently for $200. Here are few pictures of her taken while she was outside today.

let me know what you find out,will talk to Hubby when he gets home.Apollo is very energetic too,so that shouldn't be a problem i assume.
she is a gorgeous girl and would make a great addition to our crazy zoo here

Wow, she is gorgeous and has such a beautiful dark coat! Hope everything works out quickly for her!

She does have a beautiful healthy blue coat, and I know that she always played very well with my dobe puppy, who is now 8 months old. She is a rough player with large dogs, but she never upset my puppy. She is well socialized, and the last time I saw her, we were working on off leash heeling and drop on recall, so she has a good amount of obedience training. She is very energetic, but her focus is amazing. When I would be working with other dogs, she would shove herself in there and offer the behavior for a treat. I was quite attached to her, and I feel so bad that she's in this situation. I really thought I had a better relationship with my students, and I'm not sure why it didn't work out but I would have thought that Monique (her previous owner) would have called me if she needed a new home. I would have helped her. That makes me think that something happened with her health, and I really hope she's OK, but I would feel better if Gracie found a good home! If anyone is interested or needs more info, they can call me as well

i didn't got a chance to talk about her to my Hubby,he was making overtime,so i didn't saw him at all.but will keep you updated what happens,but besides that i hope maybe someone else close to her shows interesst too.she really needs to get out there and find a new loving home,asap.cross my fingers.

YAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!! My friend from minneapolis came up to look at her today, and she is ADOPTED!!!! They just bought a new house, and they completely fell in love with her. I'll try to get her to join DT, because she picks her up on thursday after her spay!!! Thanks so much Ashley and Mike

Gracie officially went home today after her spay earlier this week. She has her forever home in Minneapolis, and her new name is Lexi! Her new mom and dad will post pics (hint hint!) because I have bugged them a whole bunch!
