| Hoping a trainer can help - Las Vegas Area Hi everyone, I know I haven't written for a while, but been very busy, and now also very involved in rescue as well.
I have been working with John Getter at Las Vegas Rescue, and I am in the position to foster 1 dog at a time (because I have Bundy and Jazz), and am making wonderful progress with the dogs that have been here. Because I work from home, I am able to give the dog full attention, and can study him for any weird little behaviours. Also, having the kids here really helps as well. We placed a beautiful boy about 10 days ago with a great couple, and now he is living the life he deserves.
Here is one of the boys I have at the moment with my son YouTube - Duke and Liam
In fact, thanks to this video upload, we have found him a home unfortunately, not until next week.
Anyway, another doggy needs a place to stay, and a bit of an assessment, and I can take him, if someone can look after my Bundy girl for a week.
Jim (one of my puppy owners) has put up his hand BIG THANK YOU JIM however, I was hoping that if a handler / conformation trainer has a bit of spare room if they would offer now and then, that way I can also get her ready for the nationals as well.
I know its a big ask, but it means we can save another life, and at the same time, I can get my girl in peak performance
So if you know of anyone who could help please let me know or call me will also be email Judy Doniere for her advice as well.
thanks |

Sorry, I should of elaborated, yes I know there are one or two others that are involved, in fact I think I know who you are talking about, and she was over here a few weeks ago...
I was generalising. MOST of the club members (not all) seem to disappear when it comes to rescue.
I'm going to try to get some of my puppy owners involved. I know some of them have the space that can take another dog occasionally, or at least take bundy.
I'm still hoping to find a trainer though |
