Female Doberman in Northern VA

I have seen this post on CL a few times, it sounds like this person really needs some help.

If I didn't save her, she would've gone to the Prince William Animal Shelter (basically asking for death). It was only a summer job and I don't have it anymore, but I still have this dog. I paid for her to get shots, spayed, and microchipped. I found her a home but it didn't work out since she's so big. I have put up 100+ flyers, posted her on here a million times, asked everyone I've seen, and contacted EVERY (YES EVERY) animal rescue in VA. Much of which didn't reply probably since they want small dogs and puppies so they make money (atleast the one I've volunteered with for two years was like that) and nobody has been interested.

I have no more money. I'm paying $30 a day to board her and my bank account is suffering. I would take her but my dog doesn't get along with others. I have no idea what to do. I've spent all my money and tried harder than I've ever tried before and it all amounts to nothing, nothing at all. Very few people care but I can assure nobody feels as horrible as me. I feel like I've failed this dog, and I bit off a bigger piece than I could chew. It really was none of my business getting into this I just didn't was to see such a precious being die.

I've sold as much as I can and only have money for maybe another week for boarding. I'm not asking for you money, I just need help. A foster would mean so much to me right now, I would do anything. If you have a business I will volunteer, if you need a babysitter I'll babysit. ANYTHING. If you could just pleas efoster, maybe adopt. Maybe help in some way.

Just someone please help. I just don't know what to do.

Ok, I just talked to Rachel, I'm going to call her tomorrow night and If Keith ok's it and her mom ok's meeting me halfway, I may take her in for foster, If anyone else can help this sweet girl out, please do!!

Good luck helping this girl find a new home!

In case the DT fosters don't work out, I adopted my Rex from DAR and E, the DC area Doberman rescue. There is also Blue Ridge Dobe rescue in that area. I have no idea how full they are now; we live in GA now.

Wow I just cried reading these posts from PeeWeesMomma, perfect circle luv, and CMax, you too sweet for caring enough to post it. I seriously was overcome with emotion. Bless all of you for being the wonderful people that you are. I love to see the good come out of people. Yes I am pathetic, I know this.

Well I have to call her back in 30 mins and my fiance isn't going to let me foster. He said we have too much going on right now so I have to respect his decision although I don't like it, I'm hoping PeeWee's mom or Cmax can help out. The girl Rachel has already contacted these rescues and they said they cannot help

Ok, I just gave her a call back, she has two organizations that are willing to help her out. One is HART and the other is Homeward Trails. BUT she still does need a foster for Jorden. I told her about the group and that if she wants to join and talk to everyone to feel free, So if anyone can please help with fostering please give her a call or PM me!
