| ANOTHER dobe at humane society in colorado springs!!! What is going on here? Doesn't that make three that we've seen in the last week? OK, I just took in my foster boy, so there is no way I can take this one. Linnea, you still up to explaining to your husband why there's a third dobe running around? PetHarbor.com: Animal Shelter adopt a pet; dogs, cats, puppies, kittens! Humane Society, SPCA. Lost & Found.

| What a pretty little Red Dobergirl!!!! DAN checks this site off and on to see what rescues we have posted, but I will forward this info to them anyway. Poor little girl, she does need out of there. |

| She looks a little on the thin side too but she looks pretty eager to get out of there and full of energy. Just a feeling I get from her picture. Hopefully she'll be pulled into a foster quickly or better yet adopted. |

| I showed that to hubby last night, and he asked "Why are you showing me this? Are you wanting another dog?" I told him that I was just "keeping an eye" on her, and it was the same situation as the other two - if it came down to the wire, I would go get them, but I'm not going to snatch them up, plus it was interesting finally having a red one pop up.
Ever since I got our first doberman from the humane society 3 1/2 years ago, I've kept an eye on their listings periodically. I've only seen one other doberman there, and a litter of dobe-shar pei mixes in pueblo. Its weird seeing so many pop up within the last month. |

Now that we are fostering Jake, I can't really do anything except spread the word about her. I hope she finds a good home. She looks like a sweetie.

| I just called the humane society and here's what they told me;
She was a stray, adopted out to one family, who returned her because they "weren't ready." She knows sit (that's it,) they think she's housebroken, good with dogs, super-energetic and jumps on people.
When I found the link last night, it said her adoption fee was $200. They appear to have changed that, and the HSPPR told me that she's $98.
This dog weirds me out a little. She has the same face, build and ears as our black girl, almost the identical story (stray, adopted, returned to shelter, price reduced.)
BTW, what is it with the HSPPR and giving their dobermans food names? |

| GK, I love our HS and the dobes go fast, even the natural ones (ears and tail). I wish they were all so lucky. |

| I heard from DAN, they are looking into it. I hope she does not have to spend too long, without a Home, to call her own. |
