Reds you are right. Makaveli's offer of help was appreciated for sure. But this girls health is not 100% and It would not be a good idea to start socializing her with other dogs just yet.
But Makaveli I am sure your help will be needed in the not so distant future. If not with this girl then with another. Again it was so kind of you to offer, Thank you.

In fact Makaveli if you want to PM MIA who is a memeber here and lives in the lower mainland she might need your services to walk a dog for her occasionally. She is a private rescue person who does it all out of the goodness of her heart and could probably use a little help now and then.

If you don't mind me asking does she live anywhere in Surrey because I just got out of school and I'm free but of course my hands are full with my own Dobe but theres no better way to learn for me to help others and I'd be more than happy to help a fellow Dobe out anytime. I will try my hardest to help MIA if its needed. Thanks for letting me know. I can sure use this opportunity to meet other Dobes as I have only met ONE! other Dobe around my neighborhood! Thanks for letting me know.

Sasha's foster Mom is on top of things. She said that Sasha is starting to eat and drink now and is exhibiting signs of happiness and playfulness. She goes into the Vets tomorrow for extraction of a broken canine,xrays, worming etc.
This little girl will make someone a fine companion one day soon.
Thanks again to juljules and Dobekiss for everything they have and continue to do for this sweetheart of a dobergirl.

Many cudos are being sent to juljules and Dobiekisses for their caring. It just makes me sick when I hear of a dobie that has been in such deplorable conditions. I am sure that she will turn out to be just the greatest dog with a lot of patience! Good luck and keep us posted.

I just got some pictures of Sasha from Dobekiss. Sasha finally sleeps!

We will let everyone know how her Operation and everything else goes today.
Dobekiss, you have done a great job with this poor little rescue girl! Thank you so much.

Well Sasha's Vet visit went great, The broken canine was removed, xrays showed nothing abnormal, she is on anti-anxiety pills, antibiotics and worm medicine. Her foster Mom say so far this morning NO 'fits'. yeehaw!!! She is eating and drinking and is even climbing stairs. Housebreaking is coming along too.
This dobergirl is amazing, all she has been through and her yet her dobie personality is starting to shine through.
juljules thanks again for getting this girl away from her abusive home and Dobekiss, well you are an awesome foster Mom.

After spending time with Sasha at her foster home, it is apparent that she is visually impaired. Not completely blind, but she does not see well at all which explains her extreme anxiety and apprehensiveness. She does display all the typical dobe behaviors... cuddling, sitting on your feet for reassurance, wanting lots of human companionship. After further investigation, it has been determined that she is 11 months old, not 5 months. Slowly, things are getting clearer on her past, her issues and what needs to be done to rehabilitate her.
