I actually thought to take video of Elka's spin-frolic in the snow with her Kong flyer.

(I do however really really wish that I knew/remembered how to embed a video, I haven't been able to make it work lately, so if anybody could comment as to that as well, I'd appreciate it

Very cute! Great backyard too! It always cracks me up when they shake their toys.

She always does the death shake! It doesn't matter if it's a tennis ball (which arguably has no floppy bits) or something like the flyer.

Toby does the death shake with his bite toy, it has a handle by which I hold it and he practically knocks himself silly with when the toy smacks him up the side of the head.

Elka looked like she had fun in the snow. Though it did look ever so cold, brave girl for venturing out in that dangerous white stuff.

I'm jealous- we havnt had any snow! Though, it would make puppy training harder so maybe it's for the best.

hey, i think you could have been OUT THERE TOO and still....taken photos and whistled.

oh ya, when you did the last whistle.......you woke my sleeping dogs.

you do know the rule about sleeping dogs do you not?

Don't worry, after the battery died, we played some snow tag too. Normally Elka feels the backyard there is for tennis balls, but they all froze.

let me try this again............

you do not need to be ON camera out in the snow.

you do need to get out in the snow with your dog and take photos of the dog while you are OUT IN THE YARD IN THE SNOW TOO!

oh ya......

your recall whistle...sounds very much like mine.......you confused my sleeping dogs.they woke up..........looked at me and said."what the heck did you whistle us in for? we are already here you silly bitch."

now i look like an idiot to them.

Ohh, I see what you mean. It was just the best angle for the "longest" area of backyard for Elka to have a straightaway to run in. The yard was fenced very oddly by whoever it was put up that (used to be white) picket fence, as the property line is another good 10-15 feet past it. We'll fix that, one of these days, with something taller.
