| The Dobies Have Won.... Yes, we recently handed down our leather recliners to our daughter so we could make room for a new 3-piece sectional from RTG (1-loveseat + 2-chaisses) so ---you guessed it----"the babies" could sit with us! Up until this point in time, only little Lillah could sit on the LR furniture. Spock, since he was a puppy, wanted to get on the furniture but he was kept off by us and "Uber Alpha" Lillah! The Whole Pack Enjoying New Sectional (With Protective Covers On)
We wanted leather but the thin leathers and pleathers were just too squishy. We ended up getting a very firm microfiber and the Dobie hairs don't stick, unlike the velour in my Honda Civic, which is like a hair magnet. My DW ordered some nice color matched, quilted covers we are using just for the dogs and will remove for guests. Lillah & Spock Finally Can Be On Furniture Together Peacefully !!
Funny thing, when we first got the new sofas, Spock was afraid to get up on them, even when invited! He had been conditioned since being a puppy that it was a no-no! After several times though, he got the hang of it!!!.. Eva, however, took to the new furniture instantly, as if she had been destined for luxury!! (We also have on order a custom 30" Square coffee table for the middle - still being made) Candid (Unflattering) Shot of Everyone Zonked Out on New Sofas... |

| At this point I almost have to fight for a place on my sectional.....the dogs do not understand the meaning of laying on the floor! (and I know this is my fault) So good luck....I have also given up on keeping it covered....but it is awesome sitting with them all the time.....a great stress reducing agent....well most of the time |

| Nice!
We...uh...just bought a sectional too (also red!). And a love seat (very dark brown)
Our sectional is leather, and so far (a week in) it hasn't seen any detrimental effect from Elka's nails. |
