| Rams tried to lie to me once. We left him gated in the kitchen one day while we were out. When we returned, I couldn't help but notice the scratches to the drywall near the exit door to the garage. He claimed it was a burglar who damaged the wall as he was trying to get away. He tried to show me pieces of the "burglar's" pants stuck in his teeth.
I suspected this to be a false report and double checked his front paws. The evidence was clear... I saw what appeared to be a chalky, white, powdery substance imbedded under his nails. Under a magnified light source, chips of coloration resembling the paint on the kitchen wall were evident.
The lab results confirmed my suspicions. The investigation revealed Rams got bored and worried and scratched the wall in frustraion. He received a two month sentence to the slammer with a suspended execution of sentence for time served. He is out on parole with no other problems since June... |

| Coco tries to lie to me everyday that I have forgotten to feed her multiple times. She has a certain little whine she does while standing in front of me. No one else feeds her so she does not try this trick on them.

At least he didn't make you an accomplice! I always tell Jasmine that I need plausible deniability to her stuffed animal homicides. She's basically a stuffed animal serial killer at this point, and to evade punishment, she drags me down with her! She has me clean up the crime scene right in front of her! lol
You know somethings about to go down just from looking at her!

TobysHuman I think Skoll is sneaking onto DT to read what I post about him! I read your post about Toby stealing shoes and was thankful that I never had a dog interested in shoes. Well Skoll likes to greet people with something in his mouth (he HAS to have SOMETHING) and did not find a toy quickly enough so grabbed my roommate's shoe and greeted everyone with that in his mouth, then tattled on himself and brought it to me. I am hoping that this will be a one-off and he will not discover a shoe fetish.

| Basil : Mum I need to go out....NOW!

Zillah : Mum I'm ready to come in, I'm not trying to sneak a bone inside (looks down at strategically placed bone beside him. ...and quickly picks it up as I open the door and tries to sneak past me.
.....a few minutes later....
Zillah : Ok mum, this time I'll leave the bone outside, see it's not even in front of the door. ...then picks it up from around the corner of the house as I open the door and backs in through the doorway attempting to body block view of said bone. (we're talking huge thighbone here).

| I think I can say I have an honest dobe. Sadly it's not because she is good, it's because she has no sense of shame. She will happily sit in the pile of chewed shoe debris, bring me random things she is chewing (less fun when it's rabbit presents), chew pillow corners in front of me etc...
Just last night she stole my spot in the chair and was happily rearranging the throw blankets some of which "conveniently" went into her dog bed when I returned from another room. My return didn't even bring a pause in her interior decorating.
Now the hound..... let's just say there have been mysterious food disappearances from the counters particularly frosted sugar cookies! I attribute this to his life on the streets, you know that old Jimmy Buffet song "Who's going to steal the peanut butter?" He's just keeping up his skills. |

| We had another small incident this morning. My family generally leaves early morning hours for work and school. I work evenings and usually sleep until mid morning, around 0900-1000. At 0730, I awaken to hear Rams outside my bedroom door crunching and grinding on his Nylabone. I let it continue a bit until I decide the grinding sounds different than normal. I open the door to see him enjoying a large lolipop. Surrounding him was various candy, cookie, and snack wrappers. The trail led to my son's bedroom.
He tried to distance himself from the lolipop by pushing back, and leaning the other way as if to say it wasn't his. If he wasn't so damn cute, he would have been in trouble. He gave the same ashamed look as Roxy and Hades. The guilty, im sorry, look.
Rams likes to use his nose and enjoys finding various dog treats that are hidden throughout the house several times each week. Turns out, my son had been stashing some supplies for later in his room. I was just surprised it only took him ten minutes to find trouble.
I tell everyone he reminds me of Mikey from the TV show Orange County Choppers. He is always doing goofy stuff that should get him in trouble but he is so cute and funny I can't help but laugh and move on. |

| I snuck up on Jasmine today and "caught" her mid act. Her little floppys popped up too lol. However; when I asked her what she was doing, she said that it was the cats and that she was just trying to put the pillow back together. Geesh...
