Kiss you??

Just curious to know, I'm big on letting them kiss me, they know what the word "Kissie" means, and they kiss me as soon as I say it. So do you let your dogs kiss you and where?

Yep I adore getting kisses off my dobies -- usually a smack on the lips

Willow never stops and would kiss and lick you none stop if she could

Crystal only gives them on her terms when she is super happy --- she is like a teenage boy and will run up launch herself at you, give you a huge hard smack on the lips (or the nose !!) then run off all embarrassed, acting like she hadn't shown you any affection at all.

Ivan likes to give kisses - chin, ears, hands. . . In general I'm not a fan of it, but can't get mad at him for it either.

I don't mind when Rou gives kisses. He kisses like a little boy... just a quick short, soft peck or two and he is off on his next adventure!

Yes! Both hubby and I love kisses from our girl. For some reason she loves licking his head, he's getting a little...erm...thin up there!

Mabel gives me kisses, hugs, she licks my arms and hands as a comfort thing and her favorite is licking and nibbling my ears...I'm sure for the funny noises it makes me make

I love kisses from my babies. Diesel is more of a secret kisser. He doesn't want anyone to know where as Rogue will full on take over your face!

I don't like a lot of licking, especially since guests don't always enjoy their skin being licked off. So I taught Rowan the trick "kiss", where he will do a nose touch to my mouth when I say "kiss". Sometimes I have to say "easy" first so he does it gently or he will fling his face into mine. Those are more like a headbutt than a kiss!

I'm not a big fan and, luckily, neither of my dogs are huge lickers. It only really bothers me, however, when it's on my face. I really don't like face kisses.
(in all fairness, I don't like when other people lick me either)

I tell Elka "gimme a kiss" and she licks my cheek or chin. She'll go to town on your entire face if you let her, though I don't tend to. She'll also lick a hand at length.

yes I let Lexi kiss me.
But I trained her to only gently butt her nose off my cheek, none of the sloppy tongue kisses.

I LOVE being kissed by my dogs! From day one, Sparky has liked to kiss me on my mouth, and also licks nuzzles my left ear. After raising 72 puppies, that's the first time I seen a dog do that! Well, from the instant Bella came home, she does the same thing -- kisses and nuzzles my left ear! Isn't that strange??

Now that Bella is 6 months old, and around 60 lbs., she loves to jump up and either gently knock me down to the floor, or pin my upper torso backward, while gently kissing my entire face, until it's soaked with Dober-Slobber, LOL!! I can't help but laugh hysterically when she does that!

Sparky will offer kisses first thing in the morning, and when I first get home from work. Once in a while I can get one or two more in between those periods. But Bella will give you kisses ALL DAY LONG if you want! She is probably the most loving and affectionate dog I've ever had. She LOVES being hugged tight, and loving nothing more than laying on me, whether I'm on the floor, the couch, sitting in a kitchen chair, etc. She's a real love-bug!!

One of her tricks I'm working on is a "Bonjour" kiss. In other words, I speak french and say "Bonjour" and she kisses me on each cheek. lol I promise it's not as weird as it sounds.

Trooper loves to kiss you all around your ears. he makes little snuffly noises when he does it, it's so cute.

I love it that Trooper kisses me, it's something Homer never did. In the 3 years he was with us he never onced kissed anyone, which I found really sad.

It's so nice to feel doberkisses again.

Hades has always been a kisser (welcomed or not). He met a K9 cop in Smoothie King the other day and when the cop leaned down to pet him, Hades gave him a big, wet kiss across his whole face. Oops :/

I too taught him "kiss" on command but, according to him, it ALWAYS has to be on the lips or IN your mouth, which is not my preference. I'm working on "hug" on command where I put my arms out, say "hug" and he comes over and rests his head/neck on my shoulder

Murphy isn't a buttlicker, so I'll let him give me a sloppy one every once in a while. But if I say "kiss" then he just bumps his nose on my cheek (or more often attempts to put his nose through my cheek).

Usually kisses come when I'm on the couch and he jumps up for a kiss and some scratches, or when I'm cleaning his paws after taking him out (I guess I'm just right there).

Out of all our Dobes, Baron is the only one who is not a kisser. He will give them once and a while to DH or me but never, ever to anyone else. He will put his nose up to people but sort of just sniffs, no kisses. Was like that when we got him at 13 months so don't know if this was something the woman taught him not to do. DH feels bad sometimes because he always wants him to kiss him! My Dad would have loved Baron becaue he hated being licked and my Dax was a big kisser and that would be the first thing she would do to Dad when she saw him. It was truly funny because it was as if she knew it annoyed him! She was a little devil dog!

Odin is a massive kisser but my hubby gets it more then I do and I just sit back and laugh at my hubby trying to fight him off. But I love it when I get in from work and Odin comes up to me all excited gives me kisses. He also loves to lick my ear then nibble on the ear lobe. He is a strange fish! But I would hate to have a dog that doesn't show much affection!

I'm a fan of a quick NOSE kiss, not so much a LICK kiss! So far only one dog of the 4 licks occasionally and thankfully the not Flirt with a bigger tongue

I hate it when she goes crazy and wants to lick my entire face though!

She knows "kiss" as well! Lol I am also worried about where her mouth was last... :O
