Miss Dramatic! I figured she's not exactly a puppy anymore, so it would be best not put in the puppy corner. I've mentioned her quite a bit and those who are on facebook have seen her, but I figured a proper introduction was needed. (Now that I actually have pictures of her for the pic-requiring DT Lol).
Anyways, this is Drama. I was/am in the position to choose my next competition dog, and I have really grown fond of her over the last year. She is still young and no where near mature, but she is maturing nicely. I am hoping that she turns out as nice as we are looking for. Regardless, she is a blast, and she is going to work me into the ground. Oh bitches, they make everything so difficult!!
We will make our 'debut' for her BH in late march/early April (trial date isn't set yet), but for those in working dog circle, the next two years will be spent traveling, going to seminars, and gaining as much experience as possible. I am not going to go for 1 until she is ready to go 1-3, so it will be a couple years until we start really competing.
Sorry, I couldn't hold it in any longer!! I am so excited with what the future may hold for us as a team.
Why is her name Drama?? Maybe this picture will help explain. Since she was a puppy, she has always been overly dramatic about everything. Everything is about her, she does not need anyone but herself, and she frequently has parties....where no one is invited.
This behavior with the ball is not encouraged, and she knows she is not supposed to do that. This picture captured the moment where she spits the ball
out, grabs the string, then flings the ball around her face further stimulating herself and pretending there is nothing else going on in the world.
Always a happy girl
My favorite picture of her:
Thanks for looking!
