Here are my doberbrats after going outside in the -16 degree wind chill to potty.

You can barely see Sampsons nose sticking out on the right side of the picture!

I feel the same way! But its only about -9 here with the windchill. We did not want to get out of bed this morning.

How do you stand it? It's been 30 here in the mornings and we are freezing. It doesn's seem to bother the little queen, but we are freezing.

you get used to it, but when is this cold, my dogs don't go out for walks, just quick little potty outings to my yard lol..Imagine my shock when I came to live here from Mexico in the middle of the winter :S

Usually not that cold here in Indiana, but we have had such a mild a winter and extremely hot summer (hottest on record ever, most days were a 100 or over) we kinda expected some bad weather to come up. My doberbrats do not have coats yet so outside is very limited right now. Just going potty has them shaking and shivering. Hopefully this cold snap will end soon so we can get back to our walks.

My parents live in northern Michigan so I was wondering about the weather this morning........Everyone order those warm jammies from MeadowCat and keep warm..........It was 62 this morning cool but not cold..........

I love the nose just outside of the blankets! We had that weather a week or so ago. Burrr. Now we are in the 50's. Tomorrow should hit the 60's to maybe (I hope) in the 70's! Only in Colorado....wait 5 minutes and the weather will change.
Hope you all survive the sub-zero temps. Keep in mind....spring is coming!

Same here, and Bruce is currently curled up inside a down comforter. When I tell him we have to go out for a pee he goes limp so I can't get him lol. I can't say I blame him one bit.

I'm so envious of all your weather. Yesterday in S. Manitoba it was -43 C with the windchill, today we're being treated to -35 C only to go back to - 41 C tomorrow.

Brutal... No walks makes from an unhappy owner.

It's so cold here our doggy door is swinging just one way and the young one can't figure out how to get back in. Good thing he is a chewer so a new knuckle bone will keep him occupied, otherwise I would be pulling my hair out . Would rather have 10" snow instead of these temps. I look at the pics from summer and just dream. Stay warm no matter where you are located.

We're in a cold snap, too. Been below 0 degrees F since Saturday night. We are bundled up, but no walks for my dogs in this weather. The worst part is that Richter keeps forgetting it's cold out, so he'll ring the bell to go outside because he's bored, run out the door and turn right around and ask to come in. We're doing training stuff, lots of raw bones to chew, but he's a puppy and he's bored...so he's naughty. Can't wait for this weather to break. He's going to daycare on Thursday to get out some energy.

currently the thermometer on the comp says 7 .. my own thermometer says "too friggin cold" and the dogs agree, they run out, pee, grab a mouthful of snow and come in to lay by the heater!
