| -11 here, and that's in the sun!
Mabel obviously feels cold in the house, since she's back to sleeping in bed with me for the first time in months but that little devil just loves the snow, she gets her two coats on and prances around outside like it's still 30+ degrees....she gets mad I only let her out for 5 minutes but once she's in she curls up in her blankies like a diva lol
p.s.
I miss the warmth only because when it freezes here the poop becomes poopsicles and boy mom these are soooo fun to play with!

| Can't imagine. We live on a tropical island and Koda tends to sleep during midday heat. I only exercise him in mornings and afternoons and even then he feels the heat/humidity. He really enjoys swimming though. He'll do that for hours if I am game for it. |

OUT...hey we need OUT.....10 seconds later, bark bark...hey why did you let us out it is COLD. 10 minutes later, it starts all over again. sigh.... |

Brutal... No walks makes from an unhappy owner. | That sucks for both of you. At least Ginger will do the treadmill, Sampson thinks it is some beast that eat him if he goes near it. |

I nearly cried when I had to come home after vacationing in St. Maarten lol!
Random btw - When I rescued Jasmine, her name was originally Kona. I actually really liked the name, but her personality was so not a Kona though. Plus, her previous owner surrendered her because they didn't want her anymore (their loss, my gain!), so I figured a new name was good for a fresh start to a great life! |

| Got crazy and double and tripled layered myself. Took each dobe for a walk by themselves. Except for the part where I looked a homeless bum and couldn't feel my fingers, the children enjoyed thier 1/2 walk. ( Sorry peeps, but -16 is a stretch) Both are much calmer, but I am much colder...OMG for the love of a Dobe. |

I sill can't seem to teach them the yellow snow is bad..eww. I hope your forcast is better than what I heard. What you don't know is, all the heavy or any snow seems to fall about 20 miles north of us. We never get the predicted snow for Fort Wayne. |

| A high of +7 degrees here today. Wheeler is with Tina, so I am sure he hit the treadmill. Lola doesn't mind it a bit, but I do and she did not get out for a walk today and she's in heat so no daycare.
Kept her occupied playing tug and with a marrow bone. Supposed to be +21 tomorrow, which I can tolerate much better and the dog park will be absolutely vacant.

| We had temps in the 30's F and windchill in the 20's F last week. And humidity in the 90% range. For our walks those days, I was wearing long-johns, sweat pants, a long sleeved top, a sweatshirt, and a coat with gloves, scarf and knit hat. I was still cold.
The multi-quote thingie took me a while to figure out, also. What you do is click the little multi-quote button for every post you want to quote except for the last one. For the last one, you hit the regular quote button.

We work outside mainly and this weather stinks for roofing and building trades. Well, back to subject, I just had to physically pick up gracie and take her for outdoor time. Spoiled rotten is the pup in this home.
And I dont wish you any heavy snow, just a dusting. |

| Last week, it was -35 windchill factor here. Trust me, potty breaks very fast for Emily.
She has finally figured out under the covers on the bed is nice. Arizona looks better and better for the winters. Wish I could do it. |

| Tonight it is -18 and with the windchill I don't know how cold it is!!
Coco and I went out though. My poor girl is deprived of nice Jammie's and coats because her daddy is a meany and does not believe that dogs need clothes. He is at work tonight so I put an old sweatshirt on her and folded up the sleeves so she could run. We got in the car and drove to the field around the corner. She ran in the field like a maniac for 15 minutes and then headed back to the car because she had had enough. We drove home and she is now asleep on the couch.

| Reading these replies is making me really really cold. Seriously, I have goosebumps, and I'm all cozy in bed with my doberpoo! Brrrrr......
Has anyone seen the Jimmy Kimmel skit where he talks about California's "cold" weather? (I love Cali! I hope this doesn't offend anyone!) Here's a link to it: Los Angeles Overreacts to Cold Temperatures - YouTube Crazy how warm that sounds right now!!!! |

| -19 here in Toronto this morning.
Lexi was lifting her feet off the ground after only 15 minutes.
Looks like the extreme cold will be around until the weekend.
Lexi's new super warm coat can't come soon enough because her current one cannot handle this kind of cold.
