| Little miss Liberty, her BFF, and my not-so-puppy-looking puppy... (photo dump) I had today off and realized that I haven't taken any recent photos of my Bear. I swore I would stay on top of it because they're only puppies for such a short time. Alas, when I put the pictures on the computer, it kind of hit me that he already replaced most of his puppy features with adult ones, and he's not even 9 months old yet.
I know there's a shortage of Nietzsche in this photo dump, but he scraped his loin about a week ago and it currently looks atrocious. It's healing nicely, but it's kind of like a skinned knee, and he reeeeally enjoys licking it when I'm not looking. He somehow managed to fling his unsightly bald spot into almost every photo I tried to take of the goofy dude.
Without further adieu...
I had to share this one I took a few days ago, BUT you're not allowed to make fun of the fact that I haven't taken down the Christmas decorations/stockings yet!
The lone Nietzsche McSeriouspants photo from today. That's the expression he gets when he is ---->| |<---- this close to springing up to snag his frisbee.
Lovely Libbers enjoying the 60 degree weather and sunshine:
Spazzing out over a bird flying waaaaaaaaaaaay overhead.
I completely blew out the highlights and overexposed this one because it was so danged bright outside, and she was standing half in the shade. I messed around with some post processing to see if I could save it. This is all I could do!
This young man has recently been dubbed Tasmanian Teddy because he is just so exuberant and all over the place all the time. He has busted out of his wire crate 3-4 times now--how, we still do not know--and by the time someone gets home from work, the house looks like a tornado rolled through. Nothing is destroyed, but blankets, laundry, couch cushions, pillows, fleece jackets, kitchen towels, and everything else you can imagine is just scatted from one end of the house to the other. Oh, the doberteens...
He's a total ball hog, too. Thanks, Grandpa Blue. "Who, me?" "Nawwwwww!" *sweet face*
He is also totally girl crazy at this point. Think his winky face will reel 'em in?
Lastly, here's a cute snuggly shot I got just before Christmas. Thanks for looking!

I'm sure Khaos' ears will look great. You just have to keep at it. I think that's probably the biggest mistake people make is that they stop posting too soon. They always look good right after removing posts, so it's hard to judge immediately. Teddy's have been standing since his cup came off, but I posted through until he turned 7 months just to be safe. I still keep breath rites on his tips because they're a lot softer than the rest of the ear. Quote:

Hope Nietzsche is all better soon! | Thanks! I have shown him a couple of times myself, but he is the first dog I've had any practice with at all. He has done really well, but I'm a different story. All of the shows made majors, too, so we had lots of competition. I'm keeping him at home for a couple of months to let him mature some before I try to brave the ring again.
These aren't the best photos, but here are a couple from a show in Houston when he was just shy of 7mo, I think.
It's hard to even remember him as this little pipsqueak even though it was just a few months ago! Quote:

I really, really love the dogs they're breeding, and I honestly couldn't be happier with Teddy's temperament. John said Gunner's pups are all displaying this same temperament despite coming from some quite different dams. Quote:

Didn't another member have a sister from his litter? I can't remember... | Melinda (tuxedojack) has Teddy's sister, Barbie, and zoomatl has the other sister, April. I think Barbie is rockin' in rollin' in Florida this week, and Teddy's brother, Chance, has both of his majors and a BPIS under his belt already.
