Looking good!
ETA-Do Teddy & Libby share any of the same lines? Head/expressions are so similar to me. | They look pretty similar in photos, but they look a lot different when next to each other in person. They both have some Lex and Inaqui in them (Teddy more so than Libs), but that's all really.

| Beautiful pics! And I just love the long ear crops. Tell me again from which breeder(s) you got all of them?
ETA: Eh, never mind. I just saw your reply to Dobiewankanobi.

| Thanks again, guys. I, of course, think my dogs are beautiful because I'm biased, but it's always great to hear nice things from others. Quote:

ETA: Eh, never mind. I just saw your reply to Dobiewankanobi. | Dr. Debbie Schaffer did Libs' ears, and Dr. Sophia Koster did Teddy's in case you were curious about that, too!

| I've heard Dr. Schaffer is one of the best, if not the best. Lib's ears are perfect, IMO.
And your dogs are so lovely! Thanks for the pics.

And your dogs are so lovely! Thanks for the pics. | Dr. Schaffer's show crops are great. I really love Liberty's ears, but holy crap, it took a LOT of time to get them to where they are now. They were posted non-stop from 8wks to about 13 months, and I made her deal with breathe rites until she was 18-19mo old. I'm kind of anal about ears though.
They do seem like they fit her head very well. They looked too long when she was a puppy of course, but I love the size of them now. Teddy's ears I think will be the perfect size once he's done growing, too. They're very similarly shaped also, but Teddy's has the tiny little.. fwip thing at the tip that Libbers does not. Both docs did a great job of cleaning up the bottom of the ear.
Dr. Schaffer's pet crops aren't all that great though. She did Nietzsche's, and I've seen some others... It's almost like she struggles with herself to find a happy medium between what she knows looks best and what will stand easily with the least amount of posting. She tries to match photos if people bring them in, and though they're not awful, she does her best work if you just hand her a puppy and say "show crop please."
I love her to bits. She's also my regular vet for everything else, and I'm lucky to only live about 5 minutes from her clinic. She did Liberty's spay and gastropexy which had no issues whatsoever. Libs went through a hell of a false pregnancy right after, but that's just related to her hormones adjusting and can't really be helped by the doc. She isn't shy about medicating pain, so Liberty seemed very comfortable while recovering. Her incision healed SO quickly and looked so clean. I was amazed. Dr. Schaffer gave me her cell # to call in case I had any concerns after hours, too. She also cleaned up Teddy's tail for me when he started developing some weird scar tissue, and it looks flawless now. She really is fantastic. I know Dr. Koster is amazing too--I just have lots of firsthand experience with Debbie!
Pardon the cell phone pictures. Spay/gastropexy incision the night she came home:

Healed (hair still growing back):

I cant get enough of Liberty, especially her in your sig, she just SO SERIOUSSS!!!! | Thanks for the compliments! Those were all taken with my D7000 and 35mm f1.8, I'm pretty sure. I swap it out with my old kit lens (18-55mm) quite a bit, and I may have used that one though I doubt it.
My flickr is very generic--picturefolder09--I think. Quote:

Or maybe that's just what it looked like in the video. Loved it! | Liberty is my red bitch, and the boys are both black/rust. Nietzsche's hair is much shorter and thin, so he looks kind of grey on occasion.
Liberty is, in a word, intense. She is a bitch in every sense possible, and she knows that out of the three, she decides what flies and what doesn't. She is absolutely HILARIOUS when she's horsing around by herself with a toy or with her papa, but that's the only time she acts like a total goof. She'll wrestle with the boys and body slam with the best of 'em, but with them, she even plays seriously. She is serious when she tries to sail through the air to catch birds or airplanes hundreds (or thousands) of feet above. She is serious when she turns corners going as fast as an F1 car regardless of the fact that the grass is wet and she has no grip. She is incredibly serious when shady people lurk in the shadows at night.
When she's not running amok, she takes her cuddling and snuggling quite seriously too. She'll sit in your lap, on your shoulder, on your head, and wedge her face into any crack, hole, or crevice she can if it means she has more human contact. Case in point...
Trying to do work at the computer, and Liberty says Hallooooooooo
No room to snuggle on mom since Teddy is in the way? No problem!
