| Oh people *sigh* So I took out Rowan for the first time on a downtown walk since we moved, I wanted to check it out and he got a walk
So we're walking and there is a guy ahead walking towards us suddenly he starts looking for an opening in traffic to cross the street he almost went for it but he probably would of died. He looks at me with this almost terrified look on his face and asks if Row is alright. So I say ya he's fine and continue walking towards him. Guy squished up against the snowbank as we pass. Is it mean to laugh in your head? especially when my terrifying doberman is wearing a knit yellow and blue coat with a hood and pom pom? ah well. A little later a little old lady was walking towards us and I'm pretty sure saw us then proceeded to pretend to back track and stare at a store front window that conveniently made a nice nook to hide behind.
On a positive note Row helped 2 squirrels cross the street with their live intact
But really death by car vs. possibly nothing by dog? I just don't understand but I guess I lack fear of big intimidating dogs (not that Row is overly much )

| yup, but I just couldn't believe he was contemplating running into moving traffic...that can't be more fun/safe then walking by a dog on a leash...

| I have not. I honestly haven't really explored except going to Global pets a few times and groceries and now school. which is why I was determined today to look around a bit

| It's not just Dobes. I was walking Ilka and Lucky one day, and met up with some elementary school kids walking to school. When we were a block apart, they ran across the street, without looking for traffic, to avoid the dogs. I've also had adults cross the street to avoid walking anywhere near my dogs.

| I just like watching people hiding behind trees when I walk my beasts. My fave was last weekend we ended up at a 4 way stop. Dobe,Dobe, Husky and GS. How funny is that, we met on all corners. The Husky owner dragged her dog down the street. the GS owner lived 2 houses away and dragged him in. Our Dobies sat on the corner and waited for them to do this so they could go home and play! I was laughing so hard under cover of my scarf! |

| My last dog was an english style labrador (chocolate), the short stocky body, with the thick "blocky" head. People used to be afraid of him when we walked into town. The really funny part was that every time Quin saw someone he would start wiggling like a maniac (so hard his back feet didn't touch the ground), but people were still afraid of him.
One woman actually told her son "that dog will bite you". Um ok, be careful because he may just lick you to death.
I can't wait to start taking Bruce into town lol. |

| Saturday, my trainer and I took Khaos out for the first time to a "people" store to get him accustomed to it in his training to potentially become my next service dog. Here's a pic of the trainer and Khaos.
Thor's vest is still a little big for him but I really didn't want to buy a smaller vest for training, especially with how fast Khaos is growing.
Anyhow we were at TJ Maxx and there was a couple who refused to walk within 10ft of my on leash PUPPY with a vest on sitting next to some kids that my trainer introduced the puppy to. On the other hand, as we were leaving the store, there was a 75 year old lady that stopped us to ask if she could meet Khaos and proceeded to pet him and talk to us for quite a while, go figure.
