Sampson is so weird! He has a shoe fetish. He steals them, but doesn't chew on them thankfully, but it is difficult to go anywhere with one shoe. He also has a hand fetish. He can't keep his nose off of anyones hands. I am a surgical tech and a germaphobe, so this is quite annoying. He also has a bad habit of peeing on his older sister as she squats to pee..once again playing into my phobia. Is this normal behavior or is he just weird?
We look into Ginger's eyes and see wisdom and love, we look into his eyes and see "duh, what up?" lol Is this just being a puppy? We got Ginger at 14 months so Sampson is the first dobe puppy we have raised.

Mabel likes to carry shoes around...finding a full pair is difficult, She didn't used to but after Naomi was with us for awhile...now that dog, she loved to just stick her feet in shoes and sniff away these deep nub waggin happy breathes and snorts, then she'd parade around showing everyone her awesome shoes
Mabel is a licker though, feet, hands, arms, she just has-to-lick-me!
Be glad he isn't a crotch lover! Naomi and several cousins of mabels don't just put their head between your legs it's a full throttle hardcore shove accompanied by a deep sigh as they shove their nose so far into your crotch....explain that at petco *facepalm*

The peeing over is normal, mabel will honestly almost shove hannah off her spot before she's even done to be a dominant bitch and mark over it again.

Guess I forgot to mention the crotch and butt sniffing too. My mom hates coming over because he does it repeatedly. When ever she moves, he does it again. Like..oh hey..Have I met you yet? lol It is really kinda funny because my mom (step-mom really) is very prissy so I have to hide my smiles.

Haha i've had sniffers, but where I used to work had some dogs on a whole new level, one whole litter (almost 2y/o now) i'm convinced think their head belongs in your crotch! or licking your feet...these silly dogs are something else!

OMG, the more people that tell me stuff, the more this is my dog. He also a boob fetish. He smells my daughter and me "in that area" all the time. He has been fixed I would think that would calm him down some. He seems to have all the "fixations" a dobie could have. I am in for a long haul lol!

He also seems to have the need to chew his toys, bones, whatever, ON us. He is just not happy to lay on the floor with a chew toy, we either have to hold it for him, or he drops in our lap to chew it. What the heck is that?

Haha Row is neutered too he was when I got him so I have no idea what he'd be like not O.o scary thought haha. Rowan has to chew on me as well when its not a bone I don't mind so much if it is I smell like bone and have bone chips all over my clothes. He also really likes it when I hold it for him as well.
