| Is it mean to laugh? *Pics* (Small Update as well) So about 4 weeks ago we had a frost bite scare which led to an ear infection realization (thank goodness). I decided that day that I would knit Murphy a snood to have his ears covered during walks.
It wasn't easy...
Having a puppy with an ear infection who is unable to go outside due to the temperature can be very time consuming. Luckily, it was during my break from school (it's not like I wanted to do anything other than constantly cater to a ball of energy anyway).
So, when I had a spare couple minutes I would knit away and try to finish. Finally, 2 days ago, it was done. So, I decided to try it on him (obviously). Oh my Goodness, he looked way too funny. So I spent the next minute chasing him around the room with a camera trying to capture it:
"I seriously hate you, oh my Dog this is so embarrassing..."
The next day it was finally time to go out for a walk. Fortunately, the temperature was hovering around -7 so there really was no need for the snood. Regardless, I spent too much time and energy to allow him to go for a walk without it. When we got back I decided it was picture time, as he couldn't run:
"Just let me go... Please..."
"You laugh at me?"
On a side note, Murphy's ear is now officially healed (after two rounds of ear drops). Unfortunately, the hematoma that accompanied it has led to his left ear flopping. Boo... I ordered some skin bond (or the like, I'm not sure what it's called) and we'll be posting with molefoam so it can breathe as soon as it comes in so cross your fingers for that one. |

| I only know how to knit one way. I don't even know what it's called, it's just all that I've learned. I encourage all of you to humiliate your dogs by knitting snoods!
It's the equivalent to grandma-knit sweaters. |

| Murphy's snood...I like the nice darker green knit and his neck is also covered up good & warm.
- if his black nose tip ever gets cold, on a walk...he ain't telling Mom...lol...no way
- no telling how much the knit job could grow...and Murphy's face would be all covered up
If looks could kill...he-he.
