| I'd be more likely to guess shepherd over Dobe because of the full mask and the thicker-looking coat... but then again, my Guinness was definitely half-doberman and he had a full mask as an adult too so it's certainly possible.

| You might get better guesses if you have a side photo of her standing. Helps with the bone structure.
As is, though, looks like Shepherd to me too!

It's possible she's part Dobe... sometimes the mixes, especially if there's German Shepherd and/or hound in there (which it looks like there is) can result in the full mask that is not the Dobe marking... her expressions have a Doberman attitude. Guess you'll have to make up your own story about her! 
(PS - I don't see an ounce of Weim, though... just my opinion.)

(PS - I don't see an ounce of Weim, though... just my opinion.) | I don't really see Weim either. I'm thinking they said that because of her big ears. If anything I think Darcy may be part Blue Doberman. I was looking at some pictures and I see a huge resemblance in a lot of those dogs | |

| Thanks. Her mother was a Dobe, and we think her sire was possibly a mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback (judging by her color) and Labrador Retriever (judging by her thick, waterproof coat). Whatever the heck she was, she was a good dog, and got me hooked on Dobermans.
