Rou's first REAL snow! (smallphotocluster)

We are continuing to get snow here, but it just dumped on us yesterday night!
This was Rou's first real snow- we had snow previously with little to no accumulation, but I'm sure it helped him grow accustom.

Examining all of the "white"

Picking up speed

Eating the snow... yum!

He heard a snow blower. All has to stop until he can figure out what is going on! Sporting his blue snood!

It was difficult to get ANY action shots! But he did love pulling a branch through the snow. We also lost a toy out there... oh well.

He seemed to like eating it, and sat at the door whining until we went outside. That and he didn't take off his snood once today. I guess now he appreciates it!

Thank you He liked it. I'm sure he didn't appreciate how cold it was, but he sure loved to bounce in it!

Rouleaux is the stacking formation of red blood cells. Under the microscope they stack like poker chips.

Thank you everyone!

Sullylas - Thank you. Don't get me wrong, black/rust dobies are stunning, but I am so partial toward reds.

Thank you everyone

I love watching all of his new interactions with his environment.

He has a few dobie friends and watching them grow and play has just been an excellent experience so far. All of them beautiful examples of the breed!

He was 4 months old in that costume. I still love the picture.

Thank you. I love his snood (it looks better on him now then it did when I bought it)

As much as I can't wait for him to grow, I love the puppy stage. He is growing up too quick! He needs to put on the breaks and wait for me!!

I found one more (uneventful) picture I didn't post...

But, if anybody saw my thread a few months back regarding his ear pockets... you can see his ears a bit here (from behind for comparison to the back of the head shot demoing issue) :

His right ear has always been his lazy ear, but the pockets resolves in a week - two weeks after proper posting!

Right now I reposted that ear primarily, but the other ear has moleskin in it to keep things even.

Rou looks handsome in his warm snood.
- our new puppy seems to like the snow more than our other 2 previous dobes
- my son and I drove back from MI on baxing day, and encountered a good dumping of snow, (coming out of the outlet mall, 25 minutes just to get out of the parking lot)

He has gotten so big and good looking, love the snood. He is a beautiful red boy. I too love your signature pic in his dino suit. He has got the cutest face.

Such a handsome little guy. They sure do grow fast.... I have to say that is one thing I don't like about doberman pups. The puppy stage just doesn't last long enough.
