Richter's Christmas photos

Richter came to visit me at work today (I work in a church) and I couldn't resist taking a few photos in front of the tree:

Yes, he is handsome...and sometimes a bit of a devil (though not too often!). Thanks - all of our dogs names have come from the same video game...bonus points to those who know it!

I do know! I guess you kind of luck out when a breeder decides to place a potential show puppy in a pet home because of the lack of a testicle, huh? He truly is gorgeous (not that I'm biased!).

I don't do anything in particular. Eventually we'll probably start on fish oil, but for now he still has that glorious puppy coat. I think a healthy dog starts on the inside.

Oh, I had no idea! ha...but I just thought it was cool, like the Richter scale. Double meaning=double as cool, and bonus for going with his sister!

Thanks! His toe is doing well. It's out of the splint and he walks (and jumps, though he's not supposed to!) on it in the house. Outside, he mostly walks on it but doesn't like to put it down on the really hard, icy snow. The pad lost the rough outer layer while it was in the splint, and so it feels ticklish and funny to him to put it down on that. That layer is almost all back, except for one small spot that's still healing up.
