| How long did it take? (destruction of gifts) Santa Claus was such a nice man this year.
In Toby and Russells stockings he left.
A squeeky toy.
A ball.
And some treats.
They lasted all of...
Two minutes.
Five minutes.
Three minutes.
Respectively.
But boy were those minutes action packed.

| Well this year Santa was thinking .. lol .. he left a Cuz, a Choo-bee, and another rubber/cloth tug toy. however, Cuz's squeeker only lasted about 15/20 minutes with Bella, because she loves the sound so much she wouldnt quit chomping on it. The choo-bee is pretty durable, so it should last a while, though tiny bits of plastic shed off it when they chew it. Its similar to a nylabone so its pretty durable. The tug toy suffered a small corner of rubber chewed off, so that and Cuz were put up for supervised play only. (My girls thing EVERYTHING is a chew toy!)
They also got a bag of healthy cookies that improve skin, a bully stick each (which lasted the whole time we opened gifts) a pkg of beef jerky each, and 2 Mighty Dog soft food dishes.
Oh, and a new basketball which will be an inside toy until spring when it goes outside.

| Lasted close to one hour, each...as Kelly got marrow bones (no wrapping paper, on them) - 1st time real bone experience and she loved them.
The new puppy got her Xmas "nylon sucky soother" and a "rubber tire kong" the week before, the holidays...to keep the zoomies down.

| 3 stuffy toys were bought buy my family only 1 has been destroyed...
I guess Jones has decided that 2 of the 3 can stay, lol. At least until Timber gets a hold of them.

| Toys are all still intact. Our generous SS gave us all really tough toys, Kong, JW & Tuffys. Cleo and Thor finished each a bully stick after getting their gifts. Khaos is still working on his. He gets it for an hour or two at night to chew on while the other two are in the other room with my husband. We noted a slight increase in puppy accidents since we opened gifts, probably due to 1 the rain and 2 him being inpatient and wanting to go back inside to play with his toys instead of going potty. Both are my fault for not making him stay out long enough. So mea culpa, me culpa, mea maxima culpa

| Elka destroyed two tennis balls, but her rope toy and her Tuffy squid both survived a couple of days of play. I expected the rope to be in shreds, but the Tuffy toy is still an unknown factor. She's gentler with toys at my grandparents' house apparently. |

| Missed the SS, but Skoll got a marrow bone and my roommate has a knuckle for him when she returns from visiting her family The bone part is still intact, at least, and he worries at it from time to time.

| Bronson got many stuffed toys, an elk antler, a jerky chew and whatever this toy is.
Bronson has a pretty soft mouth for a pit and I for sure thought this toy would last. Nope he chewed 2 holes in it within minutes
It was expensive too. sigh.

| tuffy toys are still intact but its been a real war zone here keeping her away from all the little ones toys. She destroyed half of theirs including the "mighty" ones that proved to be anything but. My guess is she goes after theirs knowing they won't (or can't too big) touch hers then she treasures hers. So selfish.

| So I purposely bought Bruce a cheap tug toy knowing he would destroy it in seconds (he also got some bully sticks, and a new kong, so Santa didn't go totally cheap on him ).
Anyway yeah, cheapo tug toy...still in one piece, he LOVES it, and is not gentle with it, yet it has lasted since yesterday morning...go figure lol. |

| For toys, Brandy got a ropey snowman, two long stuffie squeakie dogs, and a little ropey squeaky ball. I am sorry to say that Brandy completely evicerated the rope part of the ball in a couple of minutes, but the ball is still intact! She has bit the nose off all of her other toys, but other than that, they still squeak, so they still have her attention! |
