 | Amazing artwork
My sister is a very talented artist and predominantly does portraits, although she can do just about anything. I wanted to share with you all a couple of gifts she made for me this Christmas because they just blew me away. The first is an oil painting on canvas she did of Rowan. It is gorgeous and I love it so much! The second is a felt ornament she made. She made each member of the family one (all different designs and creatures), but of course mine was the red dobe.

Since it was a surprise, I didn't choose which one she did...I think she stole it from my facebook or something! But I love it. I think the drawings & paintings she does that are less "posed" portraits come out better. And we just love the airplane ears anyway!

I keep telling her she really needs to get out there and promote herself. As a person she has always been a bit insecure and if she doesn't know how to do something she has a hard time taking a leap into the unknown. I try to help her when I can, but she is getting there.
I love that octopus too!! She drew one for my brother's ex girlfriend too that was really cool. If I had a way to do it without looking like a haphazard art gallery, I would have her work hung up all over my walls!
