| Happy Birthday Devon 12/21/2012
My doberman came into my life when my dad got sick and went into the hospital. I met my dad's nurse who has raised dobermans for 25 years. We were talking about dogs and I was looking for a dog. She said I'm looking for a forever home for one of my females. I had never owned a female doberman. My male doberman was trained and so disciplined Duke was a joy to take places. He died with dcm 20 years ago. It broke our hearts. I went home and announced that we were getting a female doberman and everyone said I needed a doberman like I needed a hole in my head. Well I'm glad I never followed the crowd because I would have missed the love of my life. Devon is a redhead spirited,loving,challenging.She is not dog friendly she hates dogs, cats and squirrels. She knows who is in charge and it's me or my husband.She has graced the dog show floor like a pro and we retired her. She now lives in a sea of pillows, she loves her organic dog bones. She loves her smoothies(veggies) we drink daily. She loves her toys and her cow that is falling apart. I could go on and on she turns 7 years old today. She came from a litter of 10 and I have met most of her family. I value everyday with her. My sweetheart Devon  from your mom |

We have looked for a new cow and today she started putting it apart. It's sitting on her cage..We are going over to give her brother Izzi his birthday gifts which is a big box of organic dog bones and a stuff animal which he loves. | |
