Nice face!! Yes - keep pestering them, so they know you really do want him, and it wasn't just an idle inquiry - I'll bet they get lots of people coming in to get Christmas presents, then returning them after the holidays - they're probably a bit leery of everyone who says they want a dog at this time of year... let them know how serious you are - and maybe have the names of the trainer and anyone else who knows you (your vet, maybe?), as references. (and you can let them know you also belong to an educational/supportive forum... maybe it'll help??)
