Yes, you are correct--that is what will happen and it IS indeed wrong.

Exactly as it is wrong to pay for one puppy to finance a BYB's operation, and reward and encourage them to use her sisters to keep breeding and passing on more genes, mistreating more and more animals, all of which are suffering there.

Ugh, I said I was out, but I think you need to understand what happened here...

Yes, this forum can be rough and we are all adults. My question, specifically, was about a statement this member made about purchasing TWO ENTIRE LITTERS OF DOGS. This isn't the normal "ohhh, you got a BYB puppy!" stuff.

I am not sure you are aware, but that's pretty insane. It's also not ancient history, I think it was last week? See the red bars by the user name? It means "negative reputation" and it's there for a reason.

In any case, if what RFR is true, maybe it is a bit silly BUT those pups were rescued in some fashion. Yes a BYB was financed, but he was surely not asking for thousands for each the puppies. I'm sure he is using the money on cigarettes and alcohol to numb his loneliness. Besides, didn't he start offering the CHEAP when they were revisited?

The BYB there should meet the BYB on the facebook page... What an A$$

I'm sure they were cheap, he can (AND WILL) always make more puppies with the adults he has. Any $ is pure, 100% profit. It's not like he's invested anything in these dogs.

And NO those dogs were purchased, not rescued.

Do i have to go over this a million times? I intended in buying 1 puppy. Did not know he was that bad of a breeder. People recomended him which is how i even found him. When i went to get the pup i placed a deposit on the night of i called to confirm things started to come out about who he was. I traveled there and he had 1 fawn male left. I decided to buy the last puppy because of the conditions he was keeping them in and what he had told me. I had NO intentions of buying two puppies. I paid $100. He told me at THAT time that is all he had he sold everything else. The fawn was 4 weeks, i thought he was 3 weeks, my bad. I called animal control. Nothing happened. I was in that area with my father. On the way back i called (seeing he was advertising more pups himself this time) asked if i could see them. he had 3 or 4. there were Skinny, one with head trama. I brought it to his attention he told me the mother must have bit her in the head. When i got home after the weekend monday i called animal control again. I did not buy two entire litters. This is where rumors start. I bought from two seperate litters. I did go back and get the remaining two puppies for $50. Which once they cleared vet checks and were healthy from parasites and coccsidia, Gained there weight back. I throughly screened homes. Involved vet referances and home checks. They send me email updates on those puppies. The one family settled here from japan. They couldnt believe how honest i was and how much training i already done. I can copy and past letters.

I have nothing to hide. to me $50 and $100 isnt much money but i got it the other 20 times ive been battered, any money is still supporting. The most cost were spent of vaccinations proper dewormings fecals medications and of course basic puppy care. Flea and tick preventitives. did i get any of that money back, No.

If i recall i was told i did nothing to help the remaining puppies or mother dogs. Obviously calling animal control multiple times did no good, and somehow i was supposed to do more. Animal control here in this state regardless if anyone wants to believe it or not sucks. There under paid and dont want to do there jobs. I cant speak for the whole state because people will get mad over my opinions but in the area of which i live i can speak for.

BTW its christmas eve so i will be taking time away to be with friends and family. I hope you guys do too.

Everybody just needs to smile and learn nobody is perfect. What one may think is a good way to handle the situation another might react differently. Either way my heart was in the right place and in the best interest of those dogs being neglected and sick and in poor conditions living in a barn. Cant speak for the pups he sold to other people but the pups i was reponsible for are indoors warm and healthy being loved for christmas. Thats what counts.

Maybe someone should post something regarding the breeder and warn others. This will cut down on his profits! maybe...

Sadly, the OP has been very reluctant to post anything publicly about this breeder for some reason. She always offers to PM those who are interested and welcomes them to post publicly. A few of us have already done this in another thread, myself included. And that was before she went back to him to look at more puppies.
