Question Old euro line research...sleuths needed!

So spurred by the head thread I was revisiting mabels pedigree (back to the old true euro lines)

I'm trying to find out what of the dog's I like still have exisiting kennels

I prefer the dogs on her grandfathers side...here's his pedigree.

Dobermannpedigrees.nl - The world's largest database!

now I know jotunheim is still around, and bitten is in my top 3 for an import should I go that route years from now.

Is fame an entirely jotunheim dog? with just a weird name, she comes out of different lines but no combo of her name leads to any other kennel...

I know weyermuhle is still around, thoughts on overall drive/workability/conformation/health testing?

The Eland dogs...still around? same with furstenfeld, and nymphenburg and kloster-klamp. My assumption is most aren't around, any kennels using lines pretty prevalent with them? I prefer the not as heavy western euro dogs just btw.

My searching skills are lacking lately so all help is appreciated. I love the look of fame and saxo and feus though

Some of those early lines (and similar) are still being line bred in Australia and elsewhere. ie v Norden Stam, Forell, (different to von forell, but von forell uses those lines) Nymphenburg, Eschenhoff, Neiderkassel ... et al. If you just enjoy looking at the pedigrees to see what makes up what....google (or pedigree search) kennels like Von Forell, Von Roth, Ascomannis, Von Liston, Blitzkreiger, de los Valientes, Hundesport and there's probably a lot more too!

Whilst the old prefixes have either retired, died or just got out of dobes....there are still a dedicated core of enthusiasts dedicated to carry on the old lines and producing good dogs (although some will argue they will never be like the old ones)

Side note first i said weyermuhle is still around above I meant warringhof..which she has further back

But anywho, hmm good to know depending on the route I go, importing from anywhere it is that gets me the right dog is what I'm honestly thinking.

I don't think the old dogs will ever be back, each generation is one in a million

Which dogs in particular are you most interested in?

Alex, the sire's sire was a very nice dog.

Alex was in fact a nice dog and his traits are pretty well visible in mabel and wyatt especially, I like what I've seen jotunheim produce as well, it's hard to say what I like most but I like what they've all produced in that combination.

Had it not been for the reasons that led me to owning mabel initially she'd be an ideal sch dog in my mind. She has a love for tracking and a joy for obed, she's just not personally stable enough for bitework anymore. I know her tracking love comes from her father more so but I prefer the produced look of her maternal grandfathers side better (wyatt) Edda's parents are nice and I've seen jotunheim turn out some decent working dogs (cutter at house d'ourden) plus bitten is a wealth of knowledge i'd love to talk to any day
I also like feus as well, he was one handsome boy who i've heard awesome stories about.

I like mabel's working style and overall attitude (minus her unfortunate non genetic related temperament flaws), she's a little over the top in a fun way but highly ambitious and commits to a task well, while being able to settle pretty well afterwards, she can remain in control of her prey drive rather well too.
Granted I can find this anywhere with the right lines really but I'd like to find it in something similar to what I already have just not "broken" so to speak if I decide to go the working route after her.
