It was not at all out of the normal play, and it was play, Malia just aimed a little high on the head. No yelp, no bark, no frenzy of attitudes ramping up, just play. I saw where she grabbed, and stopped it.

Ouchie! That photo of Magnum looks like he has a little tear in his eye.
Sisters, they can sure play rough. Meg my greyhound does the same thing to Max. Grabs him by the ear or the neck.

I am just glad it missed his eye. It is not unusual for him to come away with some scratch/nip/cut when playtime gets going. Usually, it will be on the neck/throat, sometimes on the flank.
