| Wow makes you wish dogs could talk so you could know what he went through the past 7 years. That's a fantastic Christmas present. |

| finally. a ending that we all have hoped for! So many times its the worst.
I have 2 dogs that have adopted me i have had them for years now, I often wonder about their previous life , i spin tails of heroism and travel for them , but they were more than likely someones dog who just got away. It would break my heart to have someone claim them after so much time had passed. In this story someone is missing their doberman now! |

| It's wonderful that the dog was united with the previous owner but it does make you wonder why no one checked for a chip during the last 7 years. |

| Glad / Glad / Glad - their both are now united....it bothers me that it took 7 years, really !!
- I would be homeless and living on the street, looking for my dobe 24/7...and probably could find it, in a matter of days or hours
Great feel good story, BUT I would never loose MY dobe for 7 full years...let alone even 7 days....maybe I am reading the article, all wrong.
REALLY - 7 years gone, makes me a bit upset. // LOVE the happy ending though.

REALLY - 7 years gone, makes me a bit upset. // LOVE the happy ending though. | Well, it's possible that whomever found the dog took him home, and never bothered to look for the owner. I have friends who's Eskie (also terrified of storms) escaped during a storm. They looked all over, put up flyers, etc., but couldn't find him. Over a year later, they get a phone call from someone, saying "I've found your dog." Evidently, whomever found the dog took it home with them to another town, but never took off the collar or tags with my friends' information. Apparently, he escaped during another storm, and someone else found him.
