| Thank you Dobermantalk I am not sure if this is in the right place but I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone here. I havent been a member for long and I am a lurker most of the time i am not even logged in but I am on here nearly every day. I have learnt so much from everyone here.
Before I found Dobermantalk I could have just gone onto Epupz and bought a puppy from a BYB but you guys have really helped me. After a lot of searching and talking to lots of breeders I have finally found a breeder that I am happy with and do a lot of health testing the problem I had in the UK was finding breeders that do any testing for DCM but this breeder does she shows all her dogs and the stud dog that was used is from a reputable breeder who also shows all their dogs. The mating was successful so now we have to wait for the scan and hopefully she will be confirmed pregnant and there will be bitch that will be suitable for us.
You guys have really helped me and I think a lot of people are quick to bash and put their hackles up and complain about it when you guys try to give advice so I just want to say thanks because you have all helped me a lot just from me reading other posts. You have pointed a newbie in the right direction and I have learned so much and learn more every day.
I have learnt so much about the breed, the importance of health testing and also the importance of buying from a reputable breeder and I cant thank you guys enough, I know there is no iron-clad guarantee that this puppy will never have any problems but thanks to everyone on here I have found a breeder who really cares and only has a litter when she wants to keep one for herself and I feel happy that I know she is doing her absolute best to ensure the health of the puppies and the breed.
So thanks again to you all if i ever have any questions I just have a look in the search and the answers are there, it is very comforting to know that you are all here and full of knowledge and willing to help people like myself. |
