| Well what do you want your dog to do when a gun is fired? Go find the danger? Obviously the gun shooter is armed.
Personally, I do not want my dog going after someone who is armed.
Also, yes, I do think that Cesar Millan training methods are poor and outdated. There are far more effective training techniques that lead to a happy and confident dog. |

Myself I would much rather my doberman go after some one who is armed than some one who is armed going after my family.
O an BTW some one who is armed only has one shot and they better make it count when it comes to my dobermans. |

I'd actually be very curious to see what kind of training you do with your dogs to make them go after a person shooting a gun. Especially since you use Cesar Millan methods. |

| | Alpha | Um, a gunshot wound can be just as fatal to a dog (if not more so, considering the mass) as it is to a human.
Soooo... Now you have a dead dog and an armed "invader". Buy a gun or move to a safer area if this is a real and serious threat to your family. Expecting a 70 pound dog to take on a guy with a gun is the epitome of idiocy.
Unless Cesar is passing out Kevlar vests with his DVDs, the training is a moot point. Answer is the same every time... dead dog, guy still armed

May we see your dobermans tail?
Also I do not beleive you have talked to three people that have bought a doberman from me.
Lisa Rose sent me a retraction.
Dainelle tried to scam me.
You have never been to my place, and it is only 15 miles from cameron MO.
You went to a friend of mine's house that was taking care of my dobermans while I was recovering from Gullian Barre. I am sorry that they did not want strangers in thier home or milling around thier property.
When I spoke to your husband, he assured me he would use cesar millan training methods.
My dobermans need proper training. They are not your sissy show doberman types.
They are bred to Her Louis Doberman's temperment standards.
I have recieved many emails from past customers telling me how thier doberman protected them, and thanking me.
I am sorry I did not do a better job of screening you, as my dobermans do need a good pack leader, and not some one who is going to let them run ship shod over them.
I would be willing to properly train your doberman for a fee, provided you continue using cesar millans trainning methods. | I'm curious...does it hurt?

| | Big Dog | I'm wondering what kind of criminal uses a muzzle loader (since they only have one shot). Most of the time I hear about semi-auto's (9-15 round clip) being used in crimes but even revolvers usually have at least 6 shots. |

| My BYB dog
Lessee, she was born probably around here in Alabama somewhere. Lived an okay-enough life in that she was not likely abused or actively mistreated. Possibly ignored and certainly not trained.
Then someone got tired of her once she wasn't little and cute, or realized a full grown untrained doberman was a handful, or got tired of the male dogs coming round once she went into heat - whatever the reason - and dumped her at a rural high-kill shelter. Whether they knew she was pregnant or not, I have no idea. The shelter didn't know.
Some random person perusing petfinder comes across her ad and asks the shelter how long they normally keep dogs before having to euthanize, as said random person is looking into getting a dog but wants to finish her fence first.
Shelter responds "we try to give them a week"
Random person replies "I'll be there Saturday. If she gets along with the ferrets, I'll take her. "
2 sniffs at the ferret carrier and this BYB dog was more interested in getting petting from this random new person than the furry things on the other side of the plastic.
"Perfect," says I.
$75 adoption fee and a promise to spay and that's how I got my BYB dog.

Sigh. Yes, warlock dobermans are actually bred specifically for kevlar coats. They are bullet proof. |

also, the term is magazine, not clip...and you can have anywhere from 6 to 20 rounds in a semiautomatic magazine. i've never seen pistols with mags higher than 20 rounds in them.
revolvers have a minimum of 5 rounds. |

revolvers have a minimum of 5 rounds. | Pretty sure this was a joke... The guy said they only get "one shot", and even a double barrel shotgun get 2.
Luckily Warlock Dobes can repel all rounds with their laser vision... |

| Some guns have extended mags that you can buy after market.
also, I think some "pistol shotguns" would be single shot, but they're weird freaking guns that I only have heard about it 3rd hand.

(what is even going on?) | True, but most home invasions don't involve hobbyists...and typically, firearms used in such things are crappy "Saturday night specials" that may or may not work.
Probably shotguns with a pistol grip. Painful as heck to shoot. I think they exist solely to show off how tough the shooter is. They aren't useful. Example: Mossberg Persuader.
(Don't mind me, I've had a crap day and firearms are one of my hobbies. Talking about them makes me happier than I was when I got home.) |
