| I am also intersted in the specs for them.
I bought two for Ivan.
One is the Ultra Light Me Up Collar. It's only water resistant in freshwater and the on/off button is raised, which means it's easily bumped when playing with another dog. On the positive side it's pretty bright. Amazon.com: Ultra Light Me Up Collar (Large,Orange LED): Sports & Outdoors
The other collar I bought is the Orange LED Lighted Dog Collar. The button is recessed, so it's not likely to be bumped. It's also waterproof. However, it's not very bright. And since it's a single, narrow band of light, a dog with longer hair, like a Lab, will obscure the light as well. | | Alpha | Hi they are made by Leuchtie http://www.leuchtie.co.uk/
Yes you can replace the batteries.
They are very well made and no matter which way the dogs face you don't loose sight of them unlike the lights that attach to the collars. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| Besides price being an issue, with the Leuchtie collar you slide it over the dogs head, so I'm worried about it sliding right back off. What has been your experience?
Also, the two I reviewed also have replaceable batteries. |

Honestly they work and stay on. My dogs really do charge around and bang into one another and they stayed lit.
They are really thick too and would be easily seen on long / thick haired dogs.
The lights are really bright too. I left them on the dogs in the car and they were blinding me on the way home every time I looked in the rear view mirror.!! Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

. | I haven't had them long enough but if they did come off I would easily find them as they are so bright.
My dogs were running about play fighting, charging around and jumping fallen logs and none came off if it helps Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

| When we go up north to the cabin, I just buy those glow-stick type necklaces (you know, the kind people wear at parties and stuff) at the dollar store. They last for hours and are only a $1 for like a pack of 50!

| Here are some other ones to look at. They are Rechargeable either by Solar or by USB.
We saw them out in Vegas at SuperZoo Show

No batteries needed, these items come with a detachable, replaceable power pack that can be recharged using solar rays or USB connectivity. There are 2 settings - constant & flashing light, charge last 2-5 hours depending on setting. These dog collars come with a USB cable that allows 1 hour for full USB charge and a rechargeable sold power pack that requires 8 hours for solar charge. Durable, multi-stitched nylon collar is water resistant. Small collar is for pets with a 10" to 14" neck. Imported.
