| Cato is so cute, I love the weird barks photo LOL!
Those cutters really are brilliant! I think you'd have no trouble at all selling them. And if you did all breeds you could start an amazing business! |

Sign me up for the cookie cutters!!! | I'll admit this is one of her tag collars (it's too gorgeous not to wear all the time) but whenever we walk with a collar, a martingale or HS are the only ones we use for his huge neck and skinny face. lol.
You all are too sweet!
I'm so happy you all like the cookie cutters!
I finally found a bonding agent that I like and have got a few more going! |

btw. I love your new avatar picture. Baron is too handsome. | Great idea. Right now I have one pair in my basket with some of my favorite old cookie cutters (from my mother and grandmother). Will put the other pair on the Christmas tree. Hopefully, will get it up this weekend. Right now it is still in pole building from the move. Haven't put it up in 2 years because we were getting the other house ready for sale and then when it was on the market we didn't put it up.

| Sorry about this late post, but both Cato and your Dobie cookie cutters are fantastic!
This presents a quandary.
Will Dobies eat "Doberman" cookies???
My guess is.... YES, and lots of them, if given the chance!!
If you go into production on the cookie cutters, may I suggest using Band-It 304 SST in 5/8" or 3/4" width material? It is very strong, won't corrode and is already rounded on both edges to allow for hands to press. Disadvantage over aluminum is it's harder to shape and would have to be brazed or spot welded together at joint. BAND-IT Stainless Steel Band, 15 mil, 50 ft. L - Steel Strapping - 5DLG1|GRC905 - Grainger Industrial Supply
The thinner 201 SST banding is easier to shape but a bit sharp on edges to be pressing with hands. We use both types aboard ship for holding emergency pipe patches, etc. in place under pressure. |

We use both types aboard ship for holding emergency pipe patches, etc. in place under pressure. | So funny that you mention this. My mom and I were thinking of new materials (ways that I don't have to hand-cut aluminum) and this was one thing we thought of. I haven't obtained a piece to try with yet. Still waiting for a thin enough piece to come through the shop with some of my dads work. I have tried to work with a few pieces of steel in the past and have found it very difficult to hand shape. But I am still hopeful. I will defiantly be bookmarking that page for future reference.
Tayl, I am so excited to see what you make with them! |
