| Umm, you're asking if you should be concerned because he behaved himself? What did you want him to do?
BTW, I hope you cleaned up after him.

How did he act while peeing and pooping? Did he freak out, thrash around at the end of his leash, spraying pee and poop everwhere? Did he drop to his belly, and/or roll over, peeing and pooping? If he was acting scared, then, yeah, it's cause for concern. If he just needed to pee and poop, it's not cause for concern.

| You stood still, so your dog had time to sniff around and relieve his/her self..barking dogs or not, your dog took a poop. I think you are ok. Had you posted that he/she was in a frenzy then totally different answers. |

| He was nervous is what it sounds like. I watched a dog do his adult temperament test got so nervous he crapped right where he stood. You see it in the show ring every now and then too.
Or he just had to poop. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

Your boy is 3 and has never been socialized? I would be concerned about this. |

| Is your dog a new rescue?
3 year old male who is not socialized seems a bit odd...

| This thread is very confusing.
It sounds like you just stood on someone's lawn to see what your dog would do, and while the little dogs were barking out the front door your dog had time to stop and relieve itself.
Anyway, what was Dexter's reaction to the dogs AFTER he pooped?
A. He took off running, nub between his cheeks
B. He finished pooping, and nothing happened, thus continuing your walk
C. He barked ferociously at the dogs, hackles up, teeth bared, etc.
D. Other...
I'm sure he has had socialization of some kind in his 3 years of life- normal people don't keep a doberman in the cupboard under the stairs... (Harry Potter reference)
Do elaborate
