Annie is like that also - she'll gather up the communal dying Wubbas and any stray stuffy and nest them all in her recliner, her bed, the dog pad on the floor, the sofa... and then spend hours snarling and screaming at Willie - he doesn't even have to be in the same room. She has a problem with false pregnancies (just getting over her 4th!!), and she goes the distance, including full lactation - and we haven't been able to have her spayed for unrelated medical reasons - as soon as we have those under control, she goes back into heat, and there we go again! One of these days, we'll hit it right - but I think, at this point, her behaviors are ingrained, and she'll probably always give poor Willie hell. Alf - we feel for ya!

I want to thank dobedream for all the wonderful gifts you sent! Ruger is still in overload. I am going to use one of the pictures of him in his new jammies for the January 2014 calendar contest. They are amazing! They fit almost like you had him there to custom fit him.
We also have enough treats and a new agliity leash to hold him over...and hopefully get a Q in 2014! After that I will sit down and have a nice hot cup of steaming coffee in a special cup. Oh, by the way, I do believe! Thanks, Cheryl and Ruger

Fortunately, Ruger's measurements weren't far off from Roxy, so she was a good model...she enjoyed the jammies so much, we're making a pair for her too
Being a part of DT Secret Santa really put me in the spirit this year...I am so thankful we found something like this to participate in. Looking forward to next year already!

We are having a good laugh while looking up the tracking number for our wayward SS package... It took 25 days to get from one place in Canada to another, left Canada about a week ago... We are theorizing that a bear must have adopted our gift as a baby for awhile, and most of Canadas brave postmen lost their lives reclaiming it. Soon we'll hear a knock on the door and open it to find the SS gift and a dead frozen Canada post man (which is odd as it is the middle of a very hot summer here).

We salute you brave soldiers of Canada post.

Back from my trip to New York/New Jersey (100 year birthday party for 1 aunt, visit my 88 year old dad & his wife, and visit his 85 year old sister in PA, and a bunch of cousins)... was a busy 10 days, but fun. Poor old DH stayed home with the red beasts and kitties, as their servant, while I gallavanted about - anyway, just wanted to check to see if all gifts have been received, accounted for and acknowledged... then we can start planning for next year! LOL!! I think discowhore hasn't posted yet - but maybe her staff hasn't arrived yet.

Hmmm... well, the 25th is only 2 days away - that was 'supposed to be" the outside date for delivery... although, remembering last year, and how the package got held up in Australia for - what was it?, like a month or so?? - no real reason other than officiousness (and that happened with a couple of Canada packages) ... maybe you'll get it in May!

I do quite hope it arrives today, as we're going away for almost 2 weeks from tomorrow! But yes, chances are some jealous Aussie has stolen something that is rightfully kiwi and claimed it for their own... Wouldn't be the first time! Last year my SS arrived on my birthday (17 Jan), so this one is the record holder! But we all know if next years SS got sent early it would arrive within 4 days... Such are the mysterious ways of the post system...
