| Very nice! Sorry everyone, we haven't gotten around to opening Elke's gift yet... had a yucky tapeworm Sunday morning, ugh. At least she is clearing up now.
So hopefully tonight we'll open the box. It looks like the USPS opened the tape especially on the bottom (more than half of the length of the box) and on top as well. So basically the whole thing falls open if you hold it the right way !?! So I will be taking many pictures as we open to be able to give to our SS gifter to start the investigation. There is still stuff in there but I don't know how full it was when it started so we'll make a list. Thanks for your patience, let's just say it has been quite a week |

| | Doberman Slave | Just a quick note to update and more later. The kids received a wonderful box from our SS but we were waiting to open it as Honor decided she is poor and had no decent toys so therefore ate a pair of Daddy's socks instead> We had a nice xmas surgery! But not to be just another puppy with a surgery, she vomited while under and so got some lovely aspirate pneumonia too! It has been quite the 2 weeks and honestly, I thought we would lose her or decide to when the bill reached near the 5K mark.
But they sent her home and she is doing quite well. She did open the box during her recovery being cooped up, but we saved most everything from her.
my rescue box was sent to hadr and now I am worried reading these so will track today. my victim and another for fun, yours will be there prior to xmas so patience

I love the decorations on the box!
Thor is very appreciative of the fact that the beds were not wrapped! I just had to open the box (bad me) and saw them in there. Thor is just thrilled, his beloved and well worn cushion was recently thrown out due to an upset tummy issue in his crate that it could not recover from. His soft fleecy pad came at the perfect time! (notice the much happier posing?)
Our loot, minus the stolen early gift for Thor!
And my brain appreciates that you put your dogs names on the box, it saved it much strain in trying to figure my Secret Santa out. Though I feel good that you were one of my guesses! | YEA!!! So glad you got it! Stunner LOVES those fleece pads also. He picked them out for your kids. He also picked out 2 of the other gifts we got at the dog shows. Hint*** The ones he picked out were one for Thor and the other one was for you.

| the photos are putting a big smile on my face... and Lorna, I am SO glad Honor is doing well... that was very scary! in the human world, aspiration pneumonia is also very scary - when it comes as a result of surgery-related issues, it just makes a person that much more miserable... please give her some Doberkisses and hugs from us. and hugs to you and Patrick, too, 'cause you probably need hugs (and sleep).

Maybe our SS should have sent us one | The sunroom is pretty bare right now. We have one more piece of furniture to move upstairs and then go buy something to sit on! Also, been sick and so has DH and haven't gotten out to get any Poinsettias so my pot and basket are looking bare also! Oh well, just glad I was able to get the tree up!

| Oh my gosh I am SO UPSET! Our package was supposed to arrive yesterday to our victim and we got home last night and my husband checked the tracking on the package and we see all kinds of updates that say "Undeliverable as Addressed December 17, 2012, 9:57 amSACRAMENTO, CA 95842
Missent" I don't know what to do! Then on the 18th it says it's Processed through USPS Sort Facility and then we look today and it says it's set to depart the sort facility! What do i do? does that mean they will try to deliver it again? or will it come back to us? i'm so sad! My husband said he wrote the address exactly like it was on the paper i gave him. |

I've never had a problem when shipping boxes so I'm clueless! We're probably going to stop by the post office later to see if they can let us know what's going on! | Don't feel bad as its out of your hands, I hope your victim gets it before Xmas!
I also did go down to the PO and they tracked the package via their internal system and she told me it was rerouted with details and gave me a printout ... The 2nd time the Post office person tracked it using usps.com and told me the same info I can see myself and I asked him to check through their system and he said it didn't exist ( He just didn't want to help me) Overall, my first parcel was delayed 3 days and the 2nd box took longer.
It is just infuriating dealing with the post office! For example, I sent out a package on Dec 3rd to Austrailia and till this day it is still in transit. I paid for Priority! 6-10 business days my arse! lol |

| USPS, in my experience, won't let you mail a package if the address is wrong. They check the zip code and stuff. You could try calling, though, and asking them to track it manually. They might be able to give you more information about what is going on with it! I did this once when I mailed a package to an actual address, but had transposed the house number so it was going to be delivered to my friend's neighbors instead, and they called the man on the truck and told him, and it was delivered to the correct house. |

| Thanks to our SS....your package arrived today! However, my hogs will have to wait until Christmas to open.
Huck always looks like he is "in trouble" when you make him sit and take his picture!
Huck giving Chloe "the teeth" because he does not want to share!
Chloe giving it a good "sniff." |
