I just have to share a little story from today. Since it was so nice, hubby and I took Brandy down to this area that's been set aside for hiking/ski trails and there's a nice little creek that runs through it.
On the trail we kept her on leash, but there were a few secluded areas that we let her off so she could really stretch her legs. She loved running through the creek, because it's about knee deep in most places and well, that's deep enough for her!
In one spot she scrambled up the side of the bank on the other side of the creek. Once she stopped sniffing I fully expected her to be like, omg....mom and dad are on the other side, how do I get to them!? With a lot of squeaking on her side and us trying to convince her to just run back down. When she realized we didn't follow and saw us on the other side, she just took a full on leap into the middle of the creek! The look on her face was priceless! "Geronimo, I'm coming mom and dad!"
So unexpected from our normally reserved girl! I love that she still surprises us after all these years!
