| This is the only info she gave me:
"john pave northern ar"
ETA: I did a search on Google for him, but didn't find anything. Perhaps a stealthier reconnaissance ninja can find something.

So basicly i rushed into the situation with wanting a dobie and then after all was said and done i found out what kind of breeder they were. So i bought the male as well to give him a better life. I didnt pay much for them. I understand buying them doesnt stop the issue it only makes it go on but in my mind i did what was right for these two. | I know in an earlier post on this thread you said you would not breed, but since you put it here in BOLD I just want to throw it out there.... PLEASE DON'T BREED THESE DOGS, together or seperately.
To my knowledge (and I may be wrong, DT members will correct me if I am) a FAWN or BLUE should NEVER be breed. and based on not knowing anything about the little girls history, other then it being absolutely horrible, you should not breed them.
You should take the advice of the other posters and and seek guidance in raising dobies this young. My other suggestion is get them tested for VwD as soon as your vet allows it. It presents itself from a lot of BYB dogs and can be deadly.
The best way to love them is to educate yourself on their care, and potential problems. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get them fixed asap. Learn from your mistake, educate others on BYBs, and give them the best life possible. I have learned so much from these DT members. They are giving you solid advice.

| To clear it up my4baddogs. I was saying what he told me. That wasnt me saying what i was going to do. He had told me it dont matter that they share the same father they still can be bred together.
But the guy doesnt have a website or anything. Like i said before i only found him through facebook of someone else recomending him for his dobermans. They got me in touch with him so i think he only sells through world of mouth. But if you find something im glady willing to hear it. |

| I don't even know why I'm posting; but none of this makes any sense.
You were planning on buying one from someone you were going to meet at a gas station, and somehow you found out they weren't being treated well and kept in awful conditions, so you requested that they bring another one? - a younger one? - and then you negotiated the price down to buy them both? You found the guy on facebook and somehow now can't find any information on him again? Did he disappear from facebook? Or better yet, you're making this whole thing up for attention? |

| LOL, jesus believe me or not i really dont care. You guys obviously arent reading my post right. I said someone said he was a GOOD doberman breeder on facebook and got me in touch with him. I sent him a deposit via paypal to hold her until she was ready. Without seeing parents, going there or even seeing a picture of any of his puppies. We spoke via phone. At 6 weeks i called him to check in and he told me all of that. So i went the next day to pick her up since i done already paid for her. He told me that he had this guy left when we spoke the rest were sold. That alot buy his puppies at 2 weeks old and he isnt responsible for what happens after he leaves. I had every intention of going to his house but he refused. He said i always meet people at the gas station. Ill meet you there. I told him i have GPS ill just come to your house and he just kepted saying i only meet people as the gas station its easier that way. I dont know how many times i have to go over this. I guess you feel the more i repeat it you can find some inconsistancy in what happened. I have his number but its a prepaid cell so it dont go back to any address.
Paypal has a old address obviously because it says he isnt even in arkansas or it isnt his paypal and he just used someone elses.
I dont think if i call him up and ask for his address he is going to give it to me if he wouldnt even when i was going to get my female. |

| How was the Vet appt? Are they okay?
Btw, I searched Facebook for his name today, and couldn't find anything there either. I still can't Google him, nor find his name on any other search engine. I wonder if this is even his real name. And if it's a pre-paid cell, I doubt he'd even answer your calls since your transaction is complete and he no longer gives a damn about you or those poor puppies.
Does your friend have ANY idea how to reach him? Via Facebook? Phone? E-mail? Carrier pigeon? |

| I updated the thread on the puppy forum how there vet check went. Basicly parasites which i suspected. There on medication to treat the coccsidia. Vet said its just a mild case and he dont forsee any complication for there recovery since there not showing any outwards signs other then going inbetween soft and normal poo. which i figured was a change of diet. I dont think the guy even has a facebook. The lady who said he was a good breeder and he had pups available just gave me that cell number to reach him. Im going to text the number so he knows that his other puppies or the ones he is expecting will need to be treated as well. |

| My guess at this point the reason he sells by word of mouth to keep things low key. Like i said ac said they would try and locate with the name but said they dont think they have had any other reports for that name either. It may well just be a alias or something he gave. Im kinda frustrated now too cause coccsidia can kill puppies if untreated and im wondering why my female was the only 1 in the litter now. |

| First and foremost, welcome to this forum, you are going to learn so much from these guys I feel sure. There will be times when you feel you are going round and round the same old tree, explaining yourself, your actions but this is not because we are not reading your posts correctly, but rather I think because we truly do not want to believe such people as your dogs breeder still draw breath, that and we want to make sure we have got the facts right before we give advice (not that I know much might I add, not when it comes to Dobes, first time owner, like yourself, bought from a BYB).
Anyhow, saying all of that I just want to say I can understand what drove you to buying 2 puppies instead of 1, you saw these dogs were in a shite place so you took them out of it, the only way you could. I will not pass judgement on you for doing this, but I will pass judgement on the breeder. May he suffer some unspeakable mishap and never again breed another pup.
In Spain, Red Dobes are called Marron y fuego, which translates to Brown and Fire.
Toby my boy (as I have said he is from a BYB) is very dark brown compared to many of the Dobes on this forum, he is probably a very poor standard of Dobe but I love him and always will.
I would say to you if you can possibly afford to, buy insurance for your pups, it probably won't come into effect until they are older but if things turn to rat poop regarding health issues it may well save you a lot of heartache when it comes to not being able to afford the vet bills. From what I have seen vet bills in the US are stupidly high and because your pups come from so dubious a start it may well be the case you are going to need it. However, I hope you don;t.
Stick around, learn, enjoy, we are a nice bunch, honest, and whats more, we care. |

| He told you to meet him at a gas station.
Can you tell us where this gas station is located?
My guess is that it's somewhere convenient to his property. Most people that keep newborn puppies outside in winter time aren't too keen on taking them anywhere far inside a vehicle.

| Or, I have a better idea. If anyone lives in Arkansas they could get in contact with this man and pretend to want to buy a puppy. Then, they back out, but take his license plate number.
Kindafugly can get into contact with her friend and coo over how cute they are and that one of her friends wants a doberman from this guy.
Okay, so maybe it's not the best idea but it needed mentioning.

| Toby, for clearing some of that up and health insurance is a good idea just in case.
If someone wanted to try to meet up with him or something. Im sure he wont give you his address cause he refused to let me go there. Would go around the question and keep saying i meet people at the gas station. It was a small town and i think that was the only gas station there or maybe that wasnt even in town im not sure. |

| Im sure the guy would discuss the puppies with someone else if they were unaware but if the guys on this forum at all or anyone on here who knows this guy probably done already gave him the heads up. Thats one of the main reasons i didnt want to post info publicly in case he is on here or friends of his are on here. |

| So inbetween taking care of puppies, training the nameless female (i really gotta find a name) ive been doing more research since finding the ad for the saddles. With alittle more poking i did find his address, home phone number and his name. He lives 20 miles from where he met me at the gas station. Even though he had told me he lived in that town. LOL
Anyways, This nameless puppy is so smart. She already knows sit and lay down |

| Looks like he's from Pearcy according to the ads on the saddles and the poor looking horse. Pearcy is not in north Arkansas. It's near Hot Springs. I used to live there many years ago. |

| Why don't you contact AC with his info again so they can make a trip out there? If they cannot because he's out of their region, perhaps they can give you the contact info of the appropriate organization that can do something. |
