| We are on Orijen, Acana. They were on 4 cups a day. We are going to cut back to 3 cups a day. They are pushing 82 and 84 #. Plus they get a RAW feeding 2 days a week. |

| Nietzsche hovers between 70-75lbs and gets 2 cups of Nature's Variety Instinct a day. Liberty stays between 60-63lbs and gets roughly 1.5-1.75 cups per day (a little less than 1 level scoop BID). Teddy... is a growing boy and eats a LOT. He gets roughly 4 cups a day (a heaping 1 cup scoop in the morning, heaping scoop at lunch, and a heaping scoop for dinner) plus training treats out the wazoo. He weighs about 65lbs right now if I had to guess.

| Anne eats 2 cups twice a day in winter, and 3 to 3 1/2 cups divided into the 2 feedings in the summer. During the winter I play with her outside a lot and we go for long walks in the battle fields near our home; she gets less exercise in the summer. She eats Nature's Logic dry food, with a tbl. of canned food at each meal and a raw, free range egg 3x a week. |

| This is a really good topic. At the Clinic, it is always- always asked, "How much food is your dog/cat eating lately?" However, there is not a universal tool to answer this. We all know inches or meters accross language barriers. But, there is no public knowledge of what a "cup is?" Is it a cup for liquids? Is it a cup for dry matter? I can NOT tell you how many times, my husband, a DVM, asks this simple question. The client states, "No, my dog/cat isn't eating even a cup of food.." They present this large dog or small dog or cat as anorexic, according to the client. And, my husband is looking at a fat dog or fat cat. -?- So, then his head starts spinning in a direction of "we have to do blood tests; is this animal hypothyroid...?" I can not tell you how much time is lost with this simple question! He finally started asking the clients to "bring in what you measure a "cup is?"" A few times, not just once, but a few times, the clients brought in a plastic McDonalds large beverage cup and said that was "what they thought a cup was." |

| Jessie is about 65 lbs and she gets one cup of food twice a day. She has basically always gotten that much since she was a puppy.
Avril is ideally 74 lbs and at today is getting two cups of food twice a day. But her weight changes easily and tomorrow she might be getting one cup each meal or three. |

Liberty sometimes gets about 1/2c of frozen green beans in place of some kibble when she starts to look pudgy.

| Mick eats 2 cups Innova red meat formula 2x a day 6:30AM and 6:30PM along with some training treats and occasional bully sticks and other chews and his daily fish oil and supplements.
I always just feed what the bag suggests based on the weight of the dog
