I think that a really awesome helpful thing would be for next year that when we submit our names/addresses we send it in the format each country/region/etc... needs it written in for shipping.
I had to google or I would have gotten all my canada mail sent back for improper labeling!

| oh admit it, KahluaGrl... you just sent them out so early so you'd be the very first card everyone got!!!  i just can't bring myself to mail out holiday cards before December happens ... it just seems so . . . well... wrong!! But since Chanukah starts Dec 8th this year, I won't feel bad sending cards out the first week of December.

I do like to win though I'm still waiting on a package that was mailed on the 10th of November. I may have successfully gotten my cards to those in the US first, but Japan... that may take a while. I actually thought those in Canada might have gotten theirs first since I'm closer but who knows how the mail works up here.
On another note, the sun is out today! This is only about the 3rd time I've had a sunny day since I've been here, and there are practically no clouds It's pretty nice... still cold though.

| Having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit! We have been so busy. BUT I did sign all of the cards last night.
My cards don't all match and arent custom because while cleaning out my 90yr old aunt's apartment since she is gone to long term care, there were about 30,000 greeting cards. Reduce reuse recylcle, they say!

We sometimes jokingly say Japan is another territory of the U.S. Once the mail/package is arrived at Narita airport, it'll be normally delivered next day! I live 350km (=217miles) far away from Narita. Japan's custom and distribution system is efficient and super-fast.

| thea2003 - my sisters and i have come across cards, stationery and note pads from anywhere from the 1950's to 1970's... things that we bought and put away "for the right time", things that were my mom's and grandmother's... and we've decided to use them - it's such a hoot to get things that are very clearly NOT current ... we love it - so I'm sure your stash from your aunt's home will be wonderful (or at least funny!).

I have all 32 or whatever envelopes addressed and stamped, and printed out 3 dozen little pics of the reds, and now I just have to write in each card, tape the pics in, and send'em... but not before the 1st! We got our second card yesterday... but I think we won't be getting 30-something. We gotta get more global next year - wouldn't it be nice to get cards from Spain, UK, Germany, Phillipines, India, . . .
