I know a lot of other Dobes including my last one loved to go between legs but Odin love playing with feet and legs. While you are sitting down he will shove his head between the couch and your legs and it ends up with your legs on top of his back lol he LOVES doing this. He will do this over and over again, he will also lay on your feet where ever you go. That I expect but I was just wondering if anyone else's love to play with feet and legs too lol. And no worries about having our full weight on his back we don't rest or legs on him or anything.

Elka will sometimes play the "foot game", where she decides somebody's foot, in a shoe or not, is the best ever, and will play bow to it, and dance around like that, pawing to either side and rubbing her face on it (mostly closed mouthed), back off, circle, bow more, repeat, etc.

Legs, not really, other than having worked with her going through my legs, or doing a "weave" as I walked.

If Dad is sitting on the computer chair, Amy will sometimes squeeze her face between my knees...more often when she was a younger girl.
I think it started when she brought me a stuffy to tease me, so hiding her face between my knees, allows her to think...that the toy was safe from my grabby hands.

I have a habit of moving or whiggling my toes slightly, until I fall asleep...so I use this to Amy's advantage often.
- probably got doing this as a kid living in a farm house, that wasn't always cozy warm, some winter nights
- when I stayed overnight, at my granny's place...us kids kept our socks on...it was so cold, in bed
When Amy is lying with me on the couch (other end) she gets a tickle from me with a moving toe or a light heal tap...on her neck, chest, side or belly.
Amy never complains of "Dad's foot game" - in fact it is sort of like a belly rub for her...without using my hand, when she is just out of arms reach...LOL

When I sit cross legged ('Indian Style') on the floor my pup will shove her face between my legs at my crotch area and leave her butt held high in the air. She'll sit there like that for minutes at a time, get bored and then lay on me.

Diesel loves feet! Regardless if you have shoes on or not. The best is if your wearing socks. Socks are his favorite thing but socks on feet...oh my goodness he goes nuts and paws at them and barks and gets all excited. He's a weird one haha

Duchess plays for hours with "Daddy's" right foot-lifts it up, jumps over, mouths and spins and takes his right slipper. She now carries the right slipper around with her when he's not home and brings it to him when he arrives.

Some of Amy favorate toys is old socks...when they get a hole in them, they are given to our girl.
- she only touches the socks, that I have given to her
Sometimes, I will take 2 old ones, and knot them together
Next one I may slip a tennis ball in one, and knot the end...so the ball doesn't fall out.
One of her stuffies has a hole in the bottom, so I covered it up with a sock dress...LOL.
Long work socks, or the streathy ones make good pull toys, this she likes.
Amy has never gone after my actual feet much...but she has a loose sock in her mouth frequently.
- do the math, she has more of her own socks in the house...than Dad has feet

Sometimes the cheapest toys are the best.
I remember when my son was 26 months old, and opened up his toys at XMas time.
While he got some good stuff, within a 1/2 hour, he was making a fort with the empty boxes, and crawling in the 1 oversized box.
My wife and I laughed, I said next year instead of spending a few hundred bucks (on toys), we will just rap up some boxes, for him.

Amy really likes the short nylon FM foot sockies to, of pantyhose material...takes after her Dad (LOL) I guess.

Just wait until you have a 100+ pound Dobe laying on your feet, pressing your legs back against the front of the recliner. He's asleep and you have to get up. Then he looks at you and says he does not understand what you want.

Yes he does, he just doesn't want to move. That was my Red (RIP). Jake and Princess just want to get in my lap (at the same time) and could care less about the feet. Red also had a foot fetish, if I was barefoot, he would lick my feet.

They are all unique in their own way.

Tali loves to lay between my feet and the sofa, or under my feet, or on my feet, or sometimes she wedges herself between my legs and the sofa and then stands up so she's a Dober footstool. LOL

Fiona is more likely to shove her head into your hand no matter what you're doing, or paw at your hand or arm to hold hands with you. And if that doesn't work to sufficiently get her some obviously much needed attention then she climbs onto your lap.

My first dobe, Joe Black, used to love being gently rolled by feet. Since I did a lot of writing and studying, I was often at a desk and as a puppy he would go under it and lie right at my feet and mess with them. I usually ended up rolling him back and forth to keep those needle teeth out of my feet! He loved it so much he would fall asleep... weirdo, lol. As he got older he couldn't fit under my desk so I moved to the table where I could continue to roll him while I worked. When friends would come over, he wouldn't pester them to be pet, he would pester them to be rolled.

Barcelona used to love squeezing under the couch and ambushing feet... frickin cat-doberman, lol.

Doc just likes to run between legs, or stand between them when he feels insecure. I remember the first time I took him to a dog park, he just ran from person to person and stood between their legs. I got a lot of weird looks but people were amused.

Dobes are great and really know how to bring a smile to their owner's face.

Maui likes to mouth my shoe, when it's still on my foot. Also when I'm sitting on the couch and I have my leg crossed, she will walk back and forth under it, then try to sit on it, backs up her booty so that it's touching my foot. She doesn't do this with my husband. I can't walk anywhere without her trying to bite my feet and legs.
I thought that I had a crazy dog on my hands with a foot fetish. LOL
