| White hairs?? I've noticed Gunner is growing random white hairs on his head and in some places on his back. They are random on only one or two hairs here and there. Is this normal?

| I have a red dobe and a black 7 month old pup and they both have the same random little white hairs. I've noticed they sometimes come after little injuries -- where they've nicked each other when mouthing each other.

| Koa had like five little ones on his head... then they left... now this week there are two new ones, in two different places, on his back/side. He's always had ~12 or so in a small section on his chest. |

| Niz has many white hairs on his face from playing bitey-face and punchy-face with other dogs; he'll often get them after deeper scratches.

Yep,that's what happens when the root is damaged. I doubt there's ever been a doberman who made it to old age without a divot or two being taken out of them by another dog in play. |

This is even mentioned in the standard, that a white patch of no more than 1/2" is accepted without penalty. |

| Lily's had a single silver hair on her mid back for 12 years now. I call it her lucky silver streak. I don't think it's from damage. I guess dobes can just have a random one here and there.

| Elza has single white hair on her head and my husband was thinking to pull it out. He gave up his idea though.
Also some visible white hairS on her elbow where she had an operation. |

| Shanoa has a few white hairs from play damage.
However, I also know a Doberman with vitiligo. She started with white hairs here and there all over her body, and it progressed from there. It's more than likely not that, but it does happen.

| Ripley too, she has two small clusters one on her cheek other under her eye. I think hers are from Bianca snapping at her. I like them, good way to describe a lost dog too.
