| Ole Boy Scooter came Well finely got my scooter it came while DH at work could not lift it out of the box so cut the box & pushed it out. I put the seat on was sitting on it on the Patio up comes Patches lays down between my feet where their is carpet. She looks up at me like OK lets go, of course have to charge the batteries will get to try it in the morning. Not going to take Buddy or Patches until I get the hang of driving it first. Then Buddy better look out we are going walking early in the mornings when it is coolest will take water along may try to get Buddy a back pack so he can carry his own water. Also heard it will wear them out quicker can you have a 13 month old carry his own water??? Do not want to harm him in any way. With all the rain we have been getting better get mosquito protection for me not sure about Buddy he is on heart worm meds maybe spray him with Skin So Soft from Avon.Dh was fine with the scooter as long as he is not paying for it.

| That's great news!
Yup, a 13 month-old can carry his own water. Start light until Buddy gets used to the pack. About a quart to start, that's a pint on each side of his saddle-bags, and work up from there.
Get a folding water dish too. Pet Edge has good ones for $1.29: http://www.petedge.com/shopping/prod...ProductID=3052
These hold water just fine. I've had water in one for several hours and no leaks. |

| Congrats on your new scooter. May I ask what kind you got? My sis has a scooter (has a form of MD) and she walks my parent's dog fine on it.

| This is GREAT NEWS! I have a Dogie Pack....used it backpacking with my Weim UNO. 13 months old is nice and strong with TONS of ENERGY, he will be fine. I have those folding bowls, and they work great!
