MISSING DOBERMAN-Hamilton Ontario

Hey everyone

We have been contacted about a missing doberman in the Hamilton area.

He is a 3yo black and tan, natural eared male. His name is Zee and he is wearing a training collar ( choke style). He was last seen at the Kings Forest Golf Club on June 6th 2010.

His owner was getting him in to the car after a walk and the dog took off back in to the woods. Even after looking and calling for a few hours he didn't return and nothing has been heard of him since. The owners are worried sick, and even though little hope remains at this point, they are still hoping that he might be returned home.

He is microchipped and well loved and they just want him home.

There is fear that he may have fallen in the water near the area where he took off, the water is quite deep and has a strong current and they fear that in the dark he may not have realized the strength of the water.

Please, we are asking all doberman people in the area to keep an eye of for this beautiful boy. He was rescued from the SPCA a few years ago and still suffers from separation anxiety.

The local authorities, animal control, rescue groups and SPCAs have been contacted and are being checked daily.

Wonder if they have any dogs that track pets in the area at least if they did they might be able to tell if the dog fell in the water or not. If he did fall into the water and it was swift they might want to widen the search area allot.Hope they can find there boy soon.

Did the owner put up flyers all over? Ask the local radio stations to make an announcement.....
I helped find the owner of two beagles running around our area, by calling the vets offices in the area, and one of the vets offices had a flyer up on their bulletin board that had info on two missing beagles, so I called the number they gave me, and lo and behold they were the dogs on the flyer.....
Sure hope the poor baby is found....now I'll worry until he is....

Poor boy. We'll be thinking positive thoughts for his safe return. Can't imagine what his parents are going through.....just awful.

The right to do something does not mean that doing it is right.
