Natural Dobermans

Thanks you, thank you , thank you to Illinois Doberman Rescue!!!!! Our son got his "baby" who is natural - ears and tail intact (3 mo old pup) and we got our "Ilsa" - a 1 yr old female - from them.
The dogs are doing VERY well in their forever homes! Yes, I know there are you "purists" out there who insist that all dobes be "cropped and docked" - however, there are those of us lovers of the breed's personality who so enjoy them "natural"! Thank you to Il. Doberman Rescue for these wonderful additions to our families!

So... where are the photos??? And is Ilsa the girl who was called "Betty"? Congrats, and you'll get NO lip from me about them being natural, because I love them every which way! Lois

I'm so happy to hear you found the Doberkids you were after! And lucky for the Dobes who may have been left sitting in rescue for longer because of their ears and tails that someone like you came along! If you make a photobucket account you can upload your pictures there and post them here Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Im very happy you got your natural dobermans the way you wanted them!
I have to say if i had to have ears, I would want the tail to go along with it.
However, I prefer the cropped and docked look and am getting sick of you putting the people who like the c/d look down. It's getting old, everyone knows from your other posts that you want natural and you got it so why continue to bitch about people who like cropped and docked?

No one here will bash you for rescuing a natural dog, even the "purists." Everyone here will be fully supportive of any Doberman being rescued.

So relax, enjoy your dogs, and worry less about highlighting the difference between cropped and natural, and more about getting some photos up for us!

I have a three month old uncropped and docked that I took home. I have had another "Woozle" in the past and love dobermans however they are. I am wondering how many have seen natural ears stand on their own? Rafiki's ears are partly up like a terriers now and i remember a red male with uncropped ears returned once who looked like an Ibizan hound. I could not get Rafiki's photo to copy but her is a link to his phoyo on facebook. Login | Facebook Anne

Congratulation on aquiring two dobermans that are just what you and your son wanted.

You can't beat Illinois Doberman Rescue, they are absolutely the best!!!

I prefer doberman two ways, either cropped and docked or with ears and tail myself. However I don't dislike natural ears with docked tails or their owners. Everyone to their own desires and lay off the ones who like them different than you.

I love Docked and Cropped or All Natural. After looking at pictures of all the All Natural Dogs from other countries I've fallen in love with the look.

Congrats!
