Welcome back to you as well Mary! Are you back for good now or will you be going back and forth? Colds suck, I feel your pain.

Thanks all. Yes, I'm 'enjoying' the winter. I think that I've successfully fought off the beginnings of a cold/flu. It was a rude awakening! Feels like being stabbed w/ icicles!

Glad that you're back too, Mary! That was quick!

Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted, but I still read posts regularly. The rabbit has been released from quarantine and both my pets are doing well. Poor rabbit had to be kept in a separate room during the duration but now she is back with us in the same room. Definitely a lot happier now, no more (or at least less) stomping and making attention-seeking noises in her cage lol.

Just caught up with this (and you, and maryanddobes). Glad your bunny is out of quarantine and I'm sure happy to be part of the family again. Hope to hear you are acquiring a Doberman in 2010 maybe?

Has your weather gotten warmer? We had the worst winter in a decade, but now it's 70 degrees and everything is turning lush and green. My kind of weather....

Thanks! I'm staying at the family home for the time being, so in the meantime, still doing more research and unfortunately won't consider having a new pet until I get my own house. The good news is that my wife is on board with the possibility of a Dobe, but I still need to make sure that I am qualified to own one first.

The weather has indeed become warmer. The first week or so after I landed it was freezing but now it's not bad and without any snow. This apparently has been a milder winter than previous ones.
